Stormy! :drinker: We can do it!0 -
if anyone wants to do a challenge this weekend, it is: TO TRY A NEW EXERCISE CLASS OR DVD. i will post the challenge on thursdays after the weigh-in. it will be a random idea and you can chose to participate or not. if you do, have fun branching out from your comfort zone!
My new exercise for this weekend was walking up hill (steep:noway:) It was a nice experience and we're going to try to go at least twice a month.0 -
I forgot to post my weight last week...

Yesterday, the hubby and I went across the road to the park and had a lovely 2 mile walk around the lake. We've lived across from this park for 3 years, and have only ever gone there for the yearly ren faire. It was SO nice. Even the hubby enjoyed it and said he wants to make it a weekly habit.0 -

Thanks! I've heard about Leslie Sansome DVD but I thought it was just walking and might be boring. Are there other things she does besides walking?0 -
Only lost one pound but managed to maintain my muscle mass so I'll take it. Need to kick it up a notch to make V-day goal. I have a feelin this will be my year to make it to my Happy Weight and this V-day goal is an intermediate step I want to make. I'm going to give it a good go this week and report back next week a reasonable distance from that V-day goal. See you all then.

Thanks, sweetie! :flowerforyou:
Which DVD was it? I have two of hers -- Walk Away the Pounds Ultimate Collection, and Walk at Home: 5 Fat Burning Miles. I love the Ultimate Collection -- it has an 18 minute one mile walk, a 30 minute 2 mile walk, a 50 minute 3 mile walk, and a 60 minute 4 mile walk. They are SO good. 5 Fat Burning Miles is just okay. There is a warm up and cool down for EACH mile (each is about 12 minutes long), which is fine if you just want to do one mile each day but change up the routine -- not so good for doing multiple miles in one go, because you don't keep the intensity up so much.0 -
