It's true they get faded and blurred as time wears on, @Gawanne...I have one about where my back left pocket is and it's gotten blurred over the last 20 years, but I'm planning on getting it redone in June. My uncle (Army vet) had his done in Okinawa on leave from Vietnam, and it's really faded and blurred...he thinks of it as a badge of honor, of a sort...He was exposed to Agent Orange and has had a slew of health problems, but he's still alive and kicking -"a li'l worse for the wear and fo' sho' worn out, but I ain't done yet!" (In a slow Miss'sippi accent)0

Your uncle sounds a great guy. One of my old bosses got his done on shore leave in Hong Kong I believe. Anyway he was blind drunk at the time. 40 years later he had it removed for his wife. Sported burn marks but I guess she was worth it. LOL anyway.0
