Wow, what a great group.
I think since I have sooooo much weight to lose, I am going to make a short term summer goal of losing 10% of my weight now, which would be 30.3 lbs to lose by 9/1. I think I can do it. That way I feel I have acheived something if (when, when) I make it there.
You guys are great, really!!!0 -

I had lost 2 pounds but after this past weekend they are on again. I binged on junk food and beer with the boyfriend all weekend and to top it off it is my favorite time of the month. I'm really hoping I can get back on track today though.
Does anybody have any tips on how to keep it under control on the weekends? That is my hardest time.
I try to plan out what I'm going to eat, and factor in the drinks. :drinker:
When I feel that I've been just too naughty, I get the husband and take a long walk or let the cat chase me around the apartment. So long as you work it off, you'll be better than just chilling on the couch being a cute munchie face (which is so much fun sometimes!!)
I have a question though....I have ovarian cysts and tend to eat when I'm hurtin'. What's a good way to work around it?0 -

I have ovarian cysts too. I NEVER feel like eating when I hurt, because...well, it hurts. But I would say drink some green tea, lay on the couch, take some painkillers, and if you need to nosh, nosh on some good stuff, like carrots and salsa dip, or celery and Laughing Cow. I know that seems pretty obvious, but I know I've had moments where I thought, "Okay, I need to eat, where's the freaking twinkies?" but thought about it and had my veggies instead. Good luck!0 -

Thank you so much! I always want ice cream or chocolate and wine when my body starts "hating" on me. I'll try the alternative :flowerforyou:0 -
