Thong, Granny Panties or Commando when working out

Nothing. All of my exercise bottoms (shorts, capris, pants, skorts) are all lined like underwear and I assume are designed to be worn w/o undies.
This, for the most part. Putting a cotton (underwear) barrier between my skin and the fabric of my capris/shorts seems to negate the wicking properties, which means too much sweatiness in that area.0 -
I wear Granny panties or bikini panties to workout in.0

UTI or panties, your choice!0

When I was more fat I wore panties that covered my butt because you could see the cellulite through me leggings otherwise.
Now I MUST be in a thong. I've taken it off between sets though too, if it is an uncomfortable one. I'm not squatting 200lbs with something murdering my crotch.0 -
Granny panties. I'm thick on the bottom and sweat alot. They are the only type and material that stay up, I can't be bothered to stop constantly to pull up or adjust0

At the gym I honestly dgaf because I figure I'm not there to look cute. My aerial classes though where I do care I wear seamless panties/boy shorts or thongs.0

I prefer the thong myself, the lack of chaffing is ideal for squats0

But I had trouble with getting UTI's and my Dr told me that was why. So I have had to stop wearing thongs for a work out. But I hate panty lines showing in my cute outfits. but the thought of a big rip at a wrong moment and the humiliation of all that mortifies me. So .. what do you ladies do?
When working out: "Go Commando" patches. Tangas. Hipsters. Cheekies. Boy shorts. * My sister lectured me about "No thongs" yada yada yada years ago.

I wear low rise briefs, think 60s style, pretty much all the time. I have a couple pairs of "workout" undies from Athleta from a while ago but although they are sizeable for the hips and butt and stuff, the business part is so narrow. I don't want anything climbing up in my business while I'm busy.1

Commando. Tri equals no pants0

Whatever's clean1

I was in the gym locker room locking up my stuff when I heard two older ladies (60ish) talking about how they go commando in the gym. Dry heaved mentally, then left very fast
You will be 60ish someday. Just hope you can still go to the gym when you reach that age and have the nerve to go commando.5 -
I love Commando panties. Cotton, seamless. Awesome. I had some by Warner's but they stopped making them. Then I found Commando. Wear them under yoga pants, no slip, no lines.
I wear Exofficio under my skorts. They are not seamless, but have moisture wicking fabric and are great for breath ability for cardio.0 -
Bikini microfiber briefs.0

Some people just really enjoy discussing underwear.0 -

I'm pretty sure someone not long ago was charged by police for publicly body shaming an elderly woman in a gym change room while showering. One day you'll be just like that and hopefully the next generation won't be so critical of you.

Commando. I also dislike panty lines and I always feel like my thongs are giving me a wedgie while I'm working out (even when they're not). Going without solved both those problems.0

I usually go for a thong or commando.. I hate it when my underwear line is visible and I can't stand it when I'm squatting and my knickers are showing cause the pants are see through when the fabric stretches..
So thong it usually is.. Then commando if I'm in yoga shorts0 -

Dear rchiecuto,
I don't want to look through 5 pages to find your original idiotic quote about the older ladies. Just want to say, "What comes around goes around. Not one of us is getting younger, and you better hope nature is extra special to you...But with your mindset, I'm thinking it will be the opposite. Good luck with that."3 -
I wear what I usually wear-- boxer briefs.1

Cotton bikini cut. I tried the hubs' boxer briefs one day, they were okay until they got all bunchy.0

If you have trouble with utis, try changing out of gym clothes and panties asap. Hanging around in sweaty clothes is not a good idea. For me, it depends in the workout as to which underwear to choose. Running-lined running shorts(no extra undies), running in tights/bike shorts-thong, lifting -breathable bikini or hipster, aerobics -whatever undies I wore to bed (usually cotton bikini) because I do it in my living room .0

I only wear seamless panties but wear skorts to work out in as I hate having every crease and bulge on show.
