    Day 11 - 20 mins at lunch, plus 60 squats...
    Day 12 - rest day so no walking, but did 45 mins. yoga

    Walking challenge at work starts today, so I'm wearing my pedometer. I may start tracking in steps now... lol. :)
  • I want to join!!! I started walking/jogging last week I've done 5 hours so far on my treadmill
  • Outside is more exciting I would prefer it but I usually use my treadmill. I find the treadmill a bit boring

    Sep 6: I took yesterday off but walked for 2 hours today shopping. I went put my fitbit on but it was dead. I think it is time to get my new flex!
    Sep 7th/8th: Hurt my knee and have had a hard time walking. Will try and push through today if I can.
    Sept 9th/10th: Knee still giving me fits
    Sep 11th: walked the dog for 23 minutes today
    Sep 12th-15th: Threw my back out
    Sep 16th: walked 30 minutes and did weights...busy week ahead so I am nervous about my time management

  • I have a real hard time with this challenge. I am not a member of a club because I do not like to walk or bike in place going nowhere..
    On the other hand it is still very hot where live and biking creates at least some cooling wind, while when I walk I just bake.

    I was hoping so much that I would get better and could at least jog by now, but it is not happening.

  • Which do you all prefer the treadmill or walking outside???

    Personally I do not like treadmills nor stationary bikes. I also think it is much easier than doing the exercise outside. When I was still a member of a club I saw people hanging over the handlebars of the treadmills, taking off most of their weight .And those on the stationary bikes do not have the challenge of constantly changing terrain.

    It is not easy to be always outside. We have very hot summers where I live and I can only alternately bike or walk in the very early morning hours. But it is so much more fun. Especially the biking. For the walking I still have not found a path where I do not feel like a hamster on the wheel, repeating the same over and over again.

    Sept 14 - 2.6 miles - 60 squats
    Sept 15 - 2.6 miles - 65 squats
    Sept 16 - 2.6 miles - rest day on squats
    Sept 17 - 2.9 miles - 70 squats - 40 using hand weights for arm presses -

    There caught up... We got this!
