I'm not quite halfway to my goal, but I'm definitely seeing changes. :blushing:
Face shot, 21APR14 @ 258 lb (17 lb down)
Face shot, 31AUG14 @ 225 lb (50 lb down)
Full body shot 30APR14 @ 253 lb (22 lb down)
Full body shot 31AUG14 @ 225 (50 lb down)
And the T-shirt I made to fish for compliments.
I'll update it every 10 lb & plan to wear it to the gym for a week each time.
Feeling good so far, starting to see/feel muscles as the fat goes away.
And there are stupid little victories like being able to cut my toenails so much easier without so much belly & thigh in the way!
Oh, and I took in my uniform pants 8" in the waist! By next boating season I expect to need to buy a smaller size.
I'm beginning to think that this whole "get fit & slim down" program might be possible.
I love the shirt idea and think it could be so inspirational for others to see you wearing it.
Great work!0 -
Way to go!!! Keep up the good work and good luck with your weight-loss journey0

Had to see my regular doctor for something today, and she was happy with my loss so far too.
The weight record they had in January was 5 lb heavier than what my scale shows (and of course was higher today too) so they think I've lost 52 lb.
I had started refusing to be weighed, since it usually didn't apply to why I was being seen & I already knew I was fat. :frown:0 -

Broke my plateau from last Sunday (when I hit 50 lb down).
51.7 now.
And despite the plateaus, I'm down 10.6 lb in the last 30 days. Yay me!
(Yes, that's more than 2 lb per week, and yes, I'm being monitored by a doctor, and yes, I know that the rate will/should eventually slow. For now, I'm enjoying it.)
I'm almost to 20% of my starting weight GONE (3.4 lb),
and almost halfway to my goal weight (3.5 lb).0 -
Wow!!!!!! That is truly amazingly fantastic. It must be wonderful to be able to tuck in your shirt. And you have a small waist! You look great.0
