  • Well, i'm expecting to go up on the scale seeing as how i let my boyfriend do the grocery shopping. His idea of healthy food is 12 boxes of lean pockets.
No fresh friuts or veggies in sight. So i have to go back and re-do the shopping when I have time.
At least he bought LEAN pockets, right?

    LOL!
Yes, I do have to give him credit for that....and when he was showing me he was all excited "Look! This one says it's make with whole grains! That's good for you, right?"

    haha

I had an ex like that. He tried SO hard to get it right and was always so disappointed if it was the wrong thing.

    Aw, how sweet. :)
I guess he just doesn't understand WHY lean pockets aren't so lean. LOL
Better than the snickers bars and coke he used to bring home though, i have to admit. LOL

I always do better with a little competition, so my bf and I are starting a little challenge. Neither one of us are allowed ANY fast food or eating out of any kind. If we slip up we have to put the same amount of money we spent on the food into a 'pot'. We are also limited to 60oz a week of soda and/or iced coffees. He drinks at least a 20oz a day of soda, and I'm bad about iced coffees and lattes. So for right now it's cut back to 60oz a week and will probably shrink from there.

This should be a little difficult for him because he travels a bit for work now, so there aren't refrigerators or microwaves to use for his lunches, and hopefully this will break my bad habit of eating out just to escape from work at lunch.

We plan on adding more rules as the weeks go by but this will do for now.

We're also checking out a gym membership this week, but I hate starting it around the new year when gyms are flooded with 'new year resolution' members. Oh well!

197.4...was away this weekend. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Any special memories or gifts or anything? We had CHristmas Eve at Nicks Grandma's and my parents, then Christmas day at Nicks parents and then a 3.5hr road trip (drove on Christmas night) to my Grandma's. My cousin, 2 aunts and an uncle have bdays on 12/24, 12/26, and today so we had bday cake which came with an icing war at my Grandma's yesterday :) As for gifts, Nick's parents were beyond nice enough (even after a huge fight) and bought us a 40in flatscreen to replace our old broken, lines across the screen tv. Huge shock to us! I got Nick a bag of gumballs for his gumball machine and a humidor for his cigars. He got me a Wii game, not sure which one yet as I get to brave Walmart to return the one he originally got (a shooting one when he thought it was something completely different..lol) so he said since neither of us would play it, we'll go get a different one.

Anyway, hope you all had a great weekend. I'm glad to get back to normal and not have so many 'comfort' foods.. I never thought I'd be so excited to eat veggies and fruits and such again :)

Hellooo all, I'm up 3 lbs this week to 172, but am really hoping that it's just liquid and bloating! Will see next week i suppose.

I got new exercise dvd's and a polar HRM for christmas! Used the HRM for the first time today, and it gave me a shock to see how high my heart rate does go when I'm exercising, but it's good to see how hard I'm working.

Looking forward to re-starting the chart next week - good luck to everyone for the new years weight loss!

Sickness is coming on strong. Been freezing my butt off all day. Wearing my shirt, jacket, coat and gloves in my office!!! My face is flushed but I can't get warm. Ready to be home. Thinking about using our fireplace for the first time tonight and passing out next to it.

I am jealous of your fireplace. I want one.

Up to 197 this week. Doubt the realness of the weight. Ate horribly the last 3 days.

So today I've taken my vitamins and started my water.

Wanted to do an interval run for 3 miles but my jogging stroller wheels are flat. So I'm trying a new Biggest Loser workout DVD today. Got it for $9.00.

Hope you all had a great holiday.
