JANUARY MILES CHALLENGE!

Hey y'all!

I'm sure a million of these threads will pop up come the New Year but I wanted to be among the first! Let's start a group mile challenge and see how many miles (walking, running or skipping!) as a group we can achieve!

I'm setting the bar HIGH for 2011:
1000 miles as a group (depending on number of interested people!)
80 miles for myself

The formula to track the miles will be the tried and true:
"_____ (my miles today) + ______ (my total miles) + _______ (total group miles) = ________ NEW TOTAL GROUP MILES"

WHO'S IN?!?

    I'm in! My goal mines for Janurary is 25miles but I want to run more than 300 for the year.

    I'm in as long as I can pedal (my knees are not the greatest). I think I can do 200 miles by January 31. I'm at around 190 so far for this month, but I'm doing that 7 day challenge so I expect it to be much higher by the end of the month.

    i'll continue into january with you guys as well.....not sure what my goal will be yet but i'm thinking 75-80....i'll let you know once i finish december's move your *kitten* challenge...

    This is awesome! I am training for a triathlon should I count all 3 sports? I would have to set the bar pretty high....maybe 300? lol too ambitious?

    Im interested, not sure how many miles because I never did this before. I guess I'll go for 60....Can we use the Elliptical?

    I'm in! I'm doing my first 4.2 mile trail run Feb 12, so this will keep me going all month long! My personal goal will be 100 miles.
