Weighing yourself

I weigh myself almost daily. It was hard, at first, but over time, you SEE your weight fluctuating and find your pattern and learn to know what's normal and what isn't. A lot of people can't handle weighing daily because of the normal weight fluctuations. I find it's helpful in gaining a better understanding of the process.0

I weigh myself weekly, first thing in the morning with no clothes on.0

Daily, every morning before I eat or drink. The fluctuations are there, but so is the trend. It's working well so far.0

Well...I'm supposed to weigh once a week (I chose Fridays). That being said, I step on that damn thing at least 4 times a day. Why? I have no idea...it's not like it's going to drop pounds in a couple hours. Well...once it did, but that's because there was a sock stuck underneath a corner of it and it threw it off.0

I don't own a scale, so I only weigh when I'm at my friend's house. Usually about once a week. I'm glad I don't have a scale; it helps keep me from compulsive checking. I haven't taken any measurements; I let the way my clothing fits be my size indicator.0

I weigh myself daily, but only record my weight weekly (every Saturday). I have been taking measurements every 2 weeks.0

It varies. I'll go through phases of weighing daily, other times I'll do it once a week. No set time.0

I weigh daily, but I don't recommend it for everybody. Sometimes the normal daily fluctuations can be upsetting.0

Oh me and my scale get it on daily!0

How often does everyone weigh in? Daily? Weekly? Every few days?
I used to weigh weekly. I am changing it to monthly for the first time today.0 -
Once a week i weight myself and have my body fat % measured at the gym and record it in a journal. I use the amount of fat loss for the week more then any of the other numbers.0

Sometimes I weigh myself twice a day. Sometimes not for a few days. Sometimes I don't want to look. Sometimes once a day. But always at the same time every week to record my weight loss.
I just like to watch the fluctuations and trends so that if it's high on my weigh in day I might be able to tell if it's from hormones, salt, etc.0 -
Daily. In the morning, after I workout, before any food or water has been consumed.
Sometimes I'll do it in the evening, just because I'm curious about how much water weight I gain in a day. But the one I go by is Monday.
I like to see the trends. I also like to see what foods cause me to retain water. Like I ate some popcorn on Monday, and it was so salty, I was only able to get through half of the bag. I gained about 2 pounds in water weight and it took about 2 days to go away. I like to know these things.
But that's just me.
Daily weigh ins do not bother me. It's not for everyone. It takes a lot to get me down, so even if I see the scale go up, I know I just need to make adjustments. No biggie.0
