Sigh. Nothing. Yet, at least. My flight for this morning got cancelled and rescheduled for Monday, so I won't see my family until then. And since we are all traveling, I probably won't get any *real* presents, but more likely cash/giftcards and the like. I am okay with that.
We don't really do big Christmases anymore. 0 -
Hmmm... I got an early Christmas gift this year (a trip to see my family - we live about 15 hrs apart) with airfare paid. So I wasn't expecting anything this year.
BUT, Santa is kind! I got a (pre-owned) elliptical machine, new pajamas, a vintage teapot (for my collection)... some handcrafted glass jewelry, etc. We had an eclectic mix of gifts this year and that made it really special. Best of all, spending time with family and friends.0 -

I got some really good new running shoes (definitely my favourite) plus a gift card for a clothing store, a new cardigan (makes me look like I'm 80) a fuzzy robe, a lovely pearl necklace, bracelet, earring set, and moneys from my mama, 'cause she's 3000 miles away right now. I had a big dinner and an even bigger argument with my MIL, who told me to grow up because I was missing my mom. (It's our first Christmas apart.) It was a great day... 0

My most important gift I received, was being able to play Santa and see the look on my daughters face when Santa woke her up and took her down stairs to give presents to her! Never will forget the expression on her 3 yr. old face.[priceless]. She didn't cry with the stranger & wanted him to stay for the day,but told her Santa had other houses to visit.
It makes the other gifts seem so unimportant! This will always be with me!

i got a new cookie sheet and candy thermometer , a very cute Hallmark ornament that is a reindeer made out of kitchen supplies (potato masher antlers, whisk feet, cheese grater head, etc), Mario Party 8, and a set of spices!!0

My hubby got me a new fancy food scale. And my little girl got me a pasta machine. But the best gift of all was the day with just our little family and no one elas.0

Indeed! :happy:I got my bracelet from Tiffanys. I wanted it when I reached my goal weight in November. Not sure if I am calling it my goal weight gift or my Christmas gift. EITHER WAY, I am owed a gift :drinker:0 -
I got a Keurig mini coffee pot....ironic considering i'm trying to cut down, but my mom says you can just toss a tea bag in there and it works just fine. LOL Handmade Chainmail earrings from my aunt, a camera and fuzzy socks. :P
The best gift ever though, was seeing my sister tear up when she saw the charm bracelet I made her, and my mom begging everyone to play "just one game" of the Wizard of Oz Scrabble I got her. (She's obsessed with EVERYTHING WOZ).
Oh, and catching my little cynical, sarcastic brother (who tells everyone who will isten he hates kids) holding my 3 month old son and telling him he's "kinda cute in a bald, slobbery, baby kinda way" and that "us awesome guys have to stick together against the army of hormonal females in this family." LOL!!!!0 -
My favorite gift was a bottle of Dom Perignon 2000. I have always said I before I die I want to drink a glass of this. Now to find the perfect time. Maybe if, no.... when I hit goal.0

My favorite gift was a huge Sephora make-up collection kit. I now have no excuse not to look presentable when I go out ;-)
Also, a HRM. I'll be happy as soon as I can figure out how to use it

Got some money that I will buy a Wii balance board and some games, like EA Active that is on sale right now. Also got some tickets for the Handball world championships, that will be played in my city in January, that will be fun!0 -

I got myself Active 2 which I used today and love it.
My guy got me weighted gloves which get really sweaty :laugh: He also got me a new bicycle seat so I'll stop complaining about my butt hurting and wool socks so I won't steal his for snowshoeing anymore. I got him fun backpacking stuff.
My (hopefully) future mil bought gave me size medium pj's :blushing: which I may be able to wear in a few months.
I also got fat and bloated for Christmas from eating a ton of crap and drinking about a million beers. I got a head full of cigarette smoke because Wyoming hasn't passed a smoking ban yet. :sick:0 -
