I'll start off by saying this was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life but the most worth it, these first pictures were taken December 24th 2013 I weighed 240-250 pounds at 5'11.

I was like this up until April when I was sick of how I looked at myself and how others looked at me, It was hard and I almost got to a point of wanting to commit suicide (I don't have that feeling anymore!)

215 pounds

am I happy with myself now? not completely but I am happy with how far I have come, I want to get down to 160 and get toned but for now I love the body I have and grateful that I am still here.

also think it's pretty impressive that I'm only 18 and had the will power to give up the things I had to give up.

At 5' 11" inches you don't need to lose any more weight--you look great now, just stay there, make it permanent.

  • That's really amazing...exactly what I wish I could see in myself! I'm much older and it's much harder but of course "wishing" isn't going to do it...right!? Good job!

    Good job!

My 19 yr old son was a bit heavier than you (268) and is now down to 190. He lost it slow and steady over time and is now loving his lean body. He just told me today how much better he feels and how awesome it is to be able to skateboard, run up stairs and do other things he wasn't able to do before.

I really admire your hard work, you should be super proud of your accomplishment.

    You look great!
  • Now this is very inspiring!! You look great!! I can see myself toned and fit again just can't wait til I get there. Keep it up:smile:

You look wonderful! I agree with the poster who said they wished they had had the willpower to do this at 19. I've yo-yo'd most of my 20s and finally am making some progress at 27. If only I'd started sooner! Keep up the great work and thanks for the pictures!
