10/25: 3.02 miles on treadmill, 6.13 miles on elliptical, 4.8 miles on stationary bike.

I just realized that elliptical and stationary bike don't count. Therefore, I won't be meeting my goal this month then, because walking and jogging (inside or outside) both hurt my feet too much until I get some shoes. I don't remember my mileage before I started using the elliptical and bike, so I will just join November's challenge.

    Happy walking/jogging/running to everyone.

Sorry I have not been posting/running/commenting...my life decided I need to experience a different kind of challenge. I went off the road on the way to work on the 17th and my car was determined to be a total loss. No injuries but it has been one heck of a whirlwind trying to get all of this sorted out. Got a goal to run one mile today just to get going again. I missed my half on Saturday which I'm still sad about but will look forward to running it next year. I'm seeing same crazy mileage and awesome progress on all of your goals! Well done!

How awful, so glad you were not hurt. Good luck with everything, dealing with insurance can be a nightmare!

1.0 mile done...it's a start! And it felt good to be back out there - it's felt and smelled like fall! So that's 51 for the month. Will try to finish at 55 for October.

@skippygirlsmom - thank you for your kind words!

Oh Dear, how frightening - a car accident definitely puts goals in perspective. I'm so glad no one was hurt, things can be replaced you are irreplaceable. <3 There will be other races, this is only a temporary setback. I'm glad to see you've already gotten out there & started running again; this momentary affliction won't break you!
This was a total suck-*kitten* month of running... missed my monthly goal, realized I will not hit the annual goal I set for myself and took a DNF on a race... Gotta find my mo-jo again and try to salvage these last two months...
You my man, I want to give a good kick in the pants to, but I'm more of a hold your hand and cheer you through it kind of gal. First this month did not suck. It didn't go down the way we all hoped, but look at everything you accomplished. You've run 85 miles! Remember when a 5K was hard? You've run the equivalent to 27 5Ks this month. In 1 single day you ran 38 miles. Do you know how few people on the face of this entire planet can say they've done that? Do you know how few people could even walk that far? Wolf, YOU RAN IT. You've already decided you won't hit your annual goal this year. Want to talk about self-fulfilling prophesies? So you're 100 miles behind, that's huge, but it's not an impossible distance to make up. I really believe you can do this, if you set your feet & your mind to it. Don't give up.
I shall descend from my soapbox now...

Decided to start the Couch to 10K but starting on week 9 since I’ve been doing the week 8 from the Couch to 5K for about a month.
I don’t think I want to run a 10K at this point but I want to add mileage. I didn’t think I would like it - run 10 mins, walk 1 min and repeat 4 times but I did like it. My running app said I went 4.4 but of course 3 minutes of it was walking... but I guess I can still count it.

Only one or two more running days for me this month so I don’t think I’ll hit the 50 goal I had set, but I had no idea what goal to set when I started. I'm still in shock that I am running at all - so it's all good!
