Healthy is subjective, which is why I put it in quotes. So, what are some healthy-to-you foods you wished you liked but just can't stomach the look, taste, or texture of? I'll go first.
1. Cottage Cheese (tried it again today and I still hate it)
2. Hummus
3. Avocado

I'm with you on the cottage cheese and the avocado. I do like hummus and tofu.0
-
Celery I guess. But nothing I can't do without.0

Brussel Sprouts. Asparagus. Corn (I know the health of corn is debatable to some and while it's healthy in my mind… I still hate it. So, I love being able to use the excuse that it's really not that good for you!)
Fish.
Watermelon and cantaloupe.0 -
Another for cottage cheese! Kale is my enemy.0
-
Second for Kale. It tastes like poisonous lettuce.0

Brussel sprouts - I have tried to like them for 50 years. Still have to hold my nose when I eat my token 2 at Christmas. Love all other veggies though.0

I can't stand hummus either.
I wish I liked "meal salads" but I hate most salad dressings so I'd rather have all the components of a salad in separate parts without the dressing (like a seasoned chicken breast and a huge side of romaine and some croutons in a ramekin is cool with me).
I HATE canned tuna. Words cannot describe. I love sashimi tuna and thick slabs of grilled tuna, but canned tuna...especially in tuna salad mayonnaise or whatever the mixture is actually curls my toes.0 -
olives
Hated them as a kid and still can't stand them.
Beets: taste like dirt:sick:0 -
1. Salads
2. Carrots

I can handle pretty much anything, except tomato's and sweet peas. Cottage cheese I hated as a kid, but I was recently surprised to find out I now love it, go figure...0

As a vegetarian who has enough trouble getting protein, I REALLY wish I liked eggs, but I can't stand them in any form. Adding eggs to just about anything is such an easy way to get extra protein without a lot of extra calories, but I can't stomach the taste, smell, or the fact that it is an egg. Yuck!0

Avocado, pumpkin and green tea! Ewwness to the maximus :sick:0

i second that!Second for Kale. It tastes like poisonous lettuce.0

Any suggestions on how to make them more appetizing in a healthy way would be much appreciated!0 -

Un mixed eggs!!
I can't eat eggs unless they are scrambled up (omelettes, quiche etc) the thought of eating egg white makes me gag!!
I like the idea of having hard boiled eggs sitting in the fridge as a good protein laden snack but ick!!0 -
Nuts. Hate every kind except pistachios, but I don't like those enough to ever buy them. I like peanuts, but those are legumes.
To me, nuts are like grass. Yeah, technically you can eat it, but why would you?! I think they're nasty. Disliking them helps me avoid a lot of desserts though.0 -

Cottage cheese (That stuff is NASTY)
Grapefruit
Spinach (cooked, I like raw spinach in salads and on sandwiches)0 -

That's actually a genetic issue: some people have taste receptors for a chemical in Brussel sprouts and some don't. If you do, they taste really bitter. Before I found this out, I was confused as to why they always tasted freezer-burnt to me no matter how I prepared them. The same goes for cilantro tasting soapy to some people.0 -
Oh yes, I second brussel sprouts! Blech! I actually liked them growing up, now I HATE them.0
