So, seven weeks ago I posted this http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1396740-remind-me-that-nobody-cares
about starting boxing training, I have been going diligently every week, I've dropped 8kg's since then (roughly I think it might be 9kgs) and I feel absolutely amazing. Its really tough but the lads are really sweet with me and have taught me how to skip properly and generally been very sweet.
I went to watch two of them fight for the first time on Sunday which was brilliant and has just made me want to train harder. Mostly I just go in and do my own thing, 4 rounds of skipping followed by a warm up, followed by 3 rounds of shadow, 10mins on the rowing machine and a few weights, then I hit stuff for about half an hour and warm down and go home. Its a really good work out, I've had to buy a new sports bra because mine was too big and I am just losing inches and inches of weight!
None of the lads give a monkeys how big I am, they all seem really supportive actually. Its been marvellous and I really recommend boxing for anyone who wants to lose weight and tone up in a support and friendly environment.
