I'm new here as a whole, but... I think something like this will really motivate me to walk more! It's an activity I've always enjoyed. :flowerforyou:

I'm off to a good start. I walked two hours at my treadmill desk at work (slow walking), I walked to the store to and then walked four miles after work with a friend. So today in total I walked about three and a half hours!
So that's about six miles on day one.0 -

Hi glad to find this thread. I did the September running challenge and walked every mile. :laugh: So I walk with my DH most days. Our goal for October is 60 miles.
Not sure how we record on the same page of thread or even if that is possible. So if you do know the answer please send me a message.

Count me in!! Me and the puppers walk anywhere from 1-3 miles everyday!!
It's great for me for getting in exercise throughout my day and it's even better for him!! Fresh air, socializing and now he's really bulked up with muscle!! He's almost 30 pounds of pure beef... and that's amazing for a little Boston Terrier!! Most are pretty small!!
Actually, we just got back from a quick mile walk about ten minutes ago!!0 -

Just got clearance to exercise again after being out of it for two months, walking only - no running yet - yeah. So I am in. I can't wait to see how much I can log. Thanks for starting this.0

At the top of the MyFitnessPal page select APPS and then the option for Ticker will show up in next line of menu options.

Not new to MFP, but returning after another LONG hiatus. Three months after having my third baby I am 10 lbs lighter than I was last october, but I'm still looking to lose another 12 pounds. Walking is the only activity I am committing myself to right now- I'm not even changing my diet . . . yet, since I've already made leaps and bounds from what I was eating a year ago.
