An exterminator?? (bug removal)

Hadn't thought of it that way before! But yes, I guess you could say that. If only I could exterminate the bad programmers that make my life hell most weeks.

I've been a carpenter my whole life(really). My dad was a contractor and I "backnailed" the plywood on weekends starting at age 5. He framed homes when I was young. He border nailed it all and I filled in the "field". Did courier work with my own cars after H/S driving 3000 miles a week. At 30 I got my CDL and have driven T/T over all 48 states and the eastern half of Canada. I've been doing one or the other ever since. Love driving almost as much but carpentry is my gift from God.

I run a Dunkin' Donuts. 25 hours a week running back and forth on the floor and the other 15 on my butt in my office doing schedules, orders, etc.

And no, I'm not tempted that often. I'm actually sick of looking at donuts after 15 years. Every once in a while I get a craving for something and I just eat it, no sense denying myself if I have to stare at it all day.

I'm a stay at home mum of 3...yeah, 3 babies in less than 3 1/2 years. But the baby weight is ALL gone. Told myself I would lose the baby weight after my last baby was born, in April. Struggled at the beginning, but by August 20th, at 238.5 lbs, it all clicked, and I've lost 48.5 lbs since then. I was 195 lbs when I got pregnant with my first, and now I'm 190 lbs. I can't describe how I feel having lost all of that baby weight, plus a little more. Still 30 lbs to go...but being a mum, sure keeps me on my feet!! I bought a pedometer, and just doing household things like cleaning and playing with the kids gets me to that recommended 10000 steps a day! Part of me wants to go back to work when the kids are all in school, but at the same time, I love being at home. I'm up at 5:30am every day, and go to bed at 9:30pm everyday...so my work days are long! Not to mention getting up once or twice in the middle of the night with the baby or one of the toddlers...

  • Also a stay at home mom. Looking to become an entrepreneur - love to cook so I'd like to help others with simple meal-planning, basic cooking, and coupon/shopping tips. I joined a MOPS group a couple of years ago and was shocked to find out how many women don't know much about cooking. Not only healthy nutritious meals and snacks, but just your basic cooking. When my kids are both in school full-time, I think I'll be attending culinary school. Right now, just enjoying the time with them. It goes way too fast.
