This thread is one in which a new fitness and dietary challenge is posted each week. We also post our weigh-in numbers for the week on Monday (when the challenges actually start). Let's kick off February right! :bigsmile:
Here are the challenges/format to post for this week: (ANY one can join in at ANY time!)

FITNESS CHALLENGE:
Try to burn a pound of fat! To do this you'll need to burn 3500 calories. If you can't hit 3500, just try to get as close as you can!
DIETARY CHALLENGE:
Get you fiber! It is recommended that women under the ago of 50 consume 25 grams of fiber each day, so shoot for that.

A short term goal of mine was being in the mid-160s by the end of January - that obviously didn't happen! :explode: I can't seem to shake the 170s, WTF?!?!?! I'm trying something new and just start P90 this morning, hopefully that'll help me get in to the mid-160s by the end of February!0 -
I'm already missing day one of fiber because I'm fasting today. Oh well, I'll try to make it for 6 out of 7.

Ooooo! I want to join too! I finally started using my elliptical! So I'm going to try every day! Here's my info for today so far. I'll post again once I have dinner and my afternoon snacks added! I get a big calorie burn when I go to spinning class - since you have a stationary maybe you could pick up the pace, or ride for longer to burn more calories...0 -

I'm in
I'm looking for ward to this challenge (thanks for saying everyone welcome) and your a football fan that makes mefeel even more connected. I'm really having a hard time deciding who to go with I like the steelers but have been so impressed by Erin Rogers and I tend to go for the underdog. I'm still wondering yhough if he Erin might have a concusion from that hit he took in his last game?
Anyway I would love to be part of this challenge, So first weigh in is the Monday after superbowl sunday?0 -
I've never really kept track of fiber before. I love mfp It sure makes keeping track of things easy. Had to swap tracking of sodium for fiber on my food diary to make room but I'm usually pretty good about sodium without monitoring it. Anyway, what a great tool mfp is for keeping me accountable for the things I swallow.
