Me: well, I have been at a stand still for 2 weeks now. My goal is still the same...to see the one hundreds.
What I love about me.... my work ethics. I will have been at my job one year on 02/08 and I have not called out sick or otherwise a single day. I have taken vacation days such as today for my hubby's birthday but I have never had an unplanned day off for being sick or otherwise. I work with alot of people who call in sick all the time for reason that I do not understand. Yea me!0 -

Whoops...I just realizeed that I didn't write something I LOVE about my body, I wrote something I LOVE about myself...SO...I LOVE my stomach! Even though it's still all flabby and covered in stretch marks, I love it because it protected my baby girl as she developed into the absolutely wonderful being she is today! (Can you tell I totally am in love with my daughter!?! :laugh: )
But I think we can write something we LOVE about ourselves...just as good as something we LOVE about our body. Maybe I'll write both!

This was emailed to us at work and I just thought I would share! A bit of a read, but good to keep in mind!
In recognition of February’s Heart Awareness month, we’d like you to take a few minutes to read about the American Heart Association’s, Life Simple 7’s. All you need is a goal, a plan and a desire to live better.
Life’s Simple 7’s.
My Life Check was designed by the American Heart Association with the goal of improved health by educating the public on how best to live. These measures have one unique thing in common: any person can make these changes, the steps are not expensive to take and even modest improvements to your health will make a big difference. Start with one or two. This simple, seven step list has been developed to deliver on the hope we all have--to live a long, productive healthy life.
GET ACTIVE
Finding time in our overscheduled lives for exercise is a challenge for all busy Americans. Especially for those who are parents or are working full-time or both. But the benefits far outweigh the sacrifices it takes to carve out that time. And anyone who has successfully managed to do so will tell you how happy they are to have found the time. They’ll tell you how much more energy they have, and how they are actually able to do more than before they started getting regular exercise. So no more excuses! Take an active role in determining your future. You deserve to give yourself the gift of living well with good health.
CONTROL CHOLESTEROL
Cholesterol is a soft, fat-like, waxy substance found in the bloodstream and in all your body's cells. It's normal to have cholesterol. Cholesterol is an important part of a healthy body because it's used for producing cell membranes and some hormones, and serves other needed bodily functions. But too much cholesterol in the blood is a major risk for coronary heart disease (which leads to heart attack) and for stroke.
EAT BETTER
A healthy diet and lifestyle are your best weapons to fight cardiovascular disease. However, there are a lot of mixed messages and myths out there regarding healthy eating. It’s not surprising that a lot of us are confused about the different types of fats. We have lots of questions regarding sodium and meat and dairy. With all the differing opinions, it’s best to get informed from credible sources, so you can make smart choices in your diet for long-term benefits to your heart and health. It's the overall pattern of your choices that counts most.
MANAGE BLOOD PRESSURE
Hypertension is the single most significant risk factor for heart disease. Uncontrolled high blood pressure can injure or kill you. It's sometimes called "the silent killer" because it has no symptoms. One in three adults has high blood pressure, yet, about 21% don’t even know they have it. Of those with high blood pressure, 69% are receiving treatment, yet, only 45% have their blood pressure controlled.
LOSE WEIGHT
Among Americans age 20 and older, 145 million are overweight or obese (BMI of 25.0 kg/m2 and higher). That’s 76.9 million men and 68.1 million women. This is of great concern especially since obesity is now recognized as a major, independent risk factor for heart disease. If you have too much fat — especially if a lot of it is at your waist — you're at higher risk for such health problems as high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol and diabetes.
If you're overweight or obese, you can reduce your risk for heart disease by successfully losing weight and keeping it off. When coming up with a fitness and nutrition plan to lose weight, it’s crucial to understand your recommended calorie intake. And then the amount of food calories you’re consuming verses the energy calories you’re burning off with different levels of physical activity. It’s a matter of balancing healthy eating (caloric energy) with the (molecular) energy that leaves your body through a healthy level of exercise.
REDUCE BLOOD SUGAR
The American Heart Association considers diabetes one of the six major controllable risk factors for cardiovascular disease. In fact, adults with diabetes are two to four times more likely to have heart disease or a stroke than adults without diabetes.
Diabetes is treatable, but even when glucose levels are under control it greatly increases the risk of heart disease and stroke. In fact, most people with diabetes die of some form of heart or blood vessel disease.
STOP SMOKING
Impact of Smoking on Health
Smoking is the most important preventable cause of premature death in the United States. Smokers have a higher risk of developing many chronic disorders, including atherosclerosis — the buildup of fatty substances in the arteries — which can lead to coronary heart disease, heart attack (myocardial infarction) and stroke. Controlling or reversing atherosclerosis is an important part of preventing future heart attack or stroke.0 -
I am not a mum yet so I cannot share the joys of mumhood! But I heard a mum once say that her stretch marks were love lines and she only has them because of the love of her children. I thought that was a really nice way of looking at it. xxxx0

I'm not quite sure what to do with my name? But I will join in and say what I love...I love my collar bones. I'm in love with them. They left me for awhile because I had upset them (from eating too much food Sept- Dec), but after a couple weeks of me proving to them that I was seroius again about my weight loss, they forgave me and came back. So..collar bones...I love you. And you can stay forever now and I will never cheat on you again (with food...which wasn't even that great to begin with...not as great as you!!).

Hummm Something I love about my body......I love that it is taking a new shape. Today is measurement day for me. I will have to let you know what the changes are later. I try to measure every 4 weeks.

Maria i was about to write about my collar bones too. Honestly i didn't even know that i had collar bones till 4 months back. i have always been an obese kid and losing a major chunk of my weight has made me realize that i do happen to have (at least according to me) awesome collar bones
I remember i was dining with a friend of mine and he told me " I didn't know you had a neck " lol it made me laugh but also made me happy :P0 -

I love the way I feel each day that I work out in the mornings. While I was in the shower this morning, after my great 30DS workout, I thought about what my goals will be for this challenge. I am going to do it...I am going to get into the 100's. I am so ready to be out of the 200's. I say that at the beginning of each challenge, but this time I want to do!

Do I have to love something every day this week? Ok in which case…. I love my eyes. They are big and brown and I have really long eyelashes!! I have reached the end of my mascara tube though and I seem to have inadvertently gone for the spider leg look today. OOOPS!!0

I love my proportions! Despite being so overweight .... my body has been nice to me and still kept BUST, WAIST, HIPS !!!!!!!! now id like it to be alot nicer and find the definition in each as i lose this weight! heheheehhe !!!!!!!!!

So what do I love about my body today? I love my ears...lol... They are a good size, shape and position on my head. Is that weird? Ha ha ha, I know you will say no because you are all so encouraging and supportive but I find it funny anyway. So, so far this week it is hair, teeth and ears. Now, what will I come up with the rest of the week....hmmmmm.....

Writing something you love about your body EACH day really is a challenge!
Today for me, I love my legs. They are a little on the chunky side at the moment but when I am at goal weight, they are perfect! I didn't used to think so but that was when I was skinny and didn't appreciate what I had!

Okay Kimberly... I changed your GW to 6 lbs less than your CW. That way it is 1 lb a week for just this challenge. I had to adjust mine as well. I would love to lose about 40 lbs in total. We just put our goal for the 6 week challenge.

Amy_36... You are right! It is hard to write something everyday but it might be liberating. I have spent so much time hating my body that it is hard to think of it that way. No wonder it is hard to lose weight, maybe my body is hating me back?????
I love my feet... especially my toes. I have really nice feet. My boyfriend likes my bottom.. Calls it my Jaylo butt. I told him she can take her butt back! LOL Chat later all......

I completely agree with you Amy, thinking of somethings everyday and just think we are only on day 2!!
Today I love my eyes, not the bags under them, just my eyes! I have hazel eyes...I love the way they change colors depending on what I am wearing. I started wearing glasses fulltime a few months back. They say that my prescription is still too weak for contacts, but dang, do you know what a pain in the butt it go from only wear them while I drive to wearing them all the time. I give it another year while wearing them, then maybe I switch to contacts (if they have gotten worse, which I think they will). So once I am in contacts, my eyes will be out there once again for the world to see!!
I got up Day 2 of this challenge and worked out, JM 30DS. I feel awesome!
You know what else I love, I love it when I work out I get more calories to eat. I know that probably sounds bad, but ever since I started back to logging in my food, when I think I am doing good I am over by 100 or 200. So gaining those few extra calories leaves me to feeling great at the end of the day!

Good morning!!
Today...I LOVE my arms...they allow me to snuggle my daughter each and every day!!
Had a great night yesterday! Blizzard conditions sent me home early so I got a good workout in early! 30 minutes on the treadmill and JM Yoga Meltdown!! Then watched some movies with my daughter and hubby!
Plan for today:
Food--
B-Cheerios, skim milk, coffee w/sugarfree creamer
S-Banana, breakfast bar
L-Turkey, 1 oz. cheese, honey mustard and spinach on light whole wheat, baby carrots, light yogurt
S-Kiwi, almonds
D-Chicken with gravy...YUM, reduced fat crescent rolls, some green veggie...probably green beans
S-2 rice crispy treats!

afternoon...
today i am liking that i have two good (sore) legs to get me to the store for some soft food. i have the worst sore throat. and of course no one can go get me anything. they are either sleeping or working. i wanted ice cream, but knew if i got it i would eat it all, so got me sugar free popsicles, and weight watchers ice cream bars. lots of sugar free pudding and jello and soup.
