Well. At least I lost those pounds I gained. Right? Right?! But you know what? I'm actually feeling optimistic. Though the scale isn't cooperating, Spring is in the air, and I have been much better at exercising and have been finding it much easier not to throw cake down my throat. Winter is the season for hibernating and adding a thick layer of fat. So Spring is the season of lightening things up and all that jazz. So, I'm definitely feeling in the spirit of things. And I am hoping my scale is feeling the same way!

Today's weight was 303...making it a 4 lb loss for me this week! EXACTLY what I had set out to do! Hope everyone else is feeling good this morning! Next week's goal: 299!

Ok I weighed in this morning and I am at 169. I have been fluctuating for over 6 months now from 165-170. I need to break this vicious cycle and get back down to 155..0

ok, i just saw this today. i'm really struggling right now. hopefully this will help get me back on track.
last week i was at 170.4
this week 171.
both kids have been sick, i'm exhausted from no sleep, so i'm struggling getting my workouts in and even remembering to log my food (or eat what i should.)
so here's to a new week, and yet another new start.0 -

I definitely know what you are talking about when it comes to being really busy. I'm a teacher and it fully penetrates my home life. I find that when I get really busy, all I do is pick and plain don't care what I'm eating only to wake up the next morning, go on the scale, and get angry at myself for not having any control. I find that when I plan well what I will eat, I do fine, but if I am so so busy, don't plan - well... you know the end of that sentence. When it really comes down to it, it's all about making the time. Getting up extra early to plan meals out.
How about this... put something on the frig that will make you think twice. I'll do the same. It can be as simple as "Don't Even Go There" or a picture of a celebrity you admire. Hey... it's a start!

Liznlu--I know how you feel about fluctuations. I've been doing the same thing. But you know what I tell myself? First, I could be gaining. So yay, for not gaining! Two, its really hard to lose in the winter. And three, spring is basically here, so we are DUE for some losses! I can feel it in my little toes! I'm not really just being a simpleton/pollyanna. I'm being real. We've just got to stick to it. The worst thing we can do now is to get discouraged. Right? Right!

Got on the scale this morning just for the heck of it and I apparently gained a pound in just a few days. Ugh, was not happy to see that. Now all I wanna do is go run and get rid of it!0

Morning all, Monday here again. Sat at my desk at the moment - working hard!!
Weighed in this morning at 151 so a 1lb weight loss this week. It's definitely slowing down now but at least it's still going down. I had a sneaky peek on Saturday and was down to 150 and have been good over the weekend so I'm not sure what happened for it to hop back up to 151 this morning. I just want to get to the 140's!!0 -

1 week after I started the exercises and the diet, lost 7lbs , I am currently have188lb since last monday when I had 195lb . My goal is 163 lb so I am looking forward to continue going down even more this week0 -

Wow!!! Think my body has made up for the couple of weeks of not really doing anything. It seems to do that, I won't change anything, I won't really lose much (if anything) for a couple of weeks and then it seems to get it's act together and 2 weeks worth comes off in just a few days

Hi everyone I am new here. I am starting to count my calories today. Would love to join this group. I weight 175 my goal weight is 130. I have five boys and a wonderful husband. I work overnights which makes it a little rough for me. I would like to loose 1 to 2 pounds a week.0

Hi everyone!
I'm back...I definitely lost track of all my goals and what I was in the midst of achieving over the last few weeks...and my actions and disregard showed up on the scale this morning (and in my clothes over the last few days as well). :grumble:
I weighed in at 314.6, a gain of more than 10 lbs in 3 weeks. DISGUSTING! Back on track and back in the gym today, and I feel good just THINKING about it!
Goal for next week: 310!

totally forgot to weigh in this morning, but on thursday or friday it was 170.4, up .8. i was sick for two full weeks, but am feeling lots better. i worked out for 80 minutes today, and felt great.0

Morning everyone. Completely forgot to post yesterday so lil bit of a late reply....
Last Monday was 147lbs, this week 145lbs, another 2lbs gone! I've now just nudged from an overweight BMI to the healthy range so here's to keeping up the good work and making sure that I don't creep back up into the overweight category0 -

my jaw is majorly messed up at the moment, so i'm having to suck everything thru a straw, no chewing at all. hopefully i won't get sick of smoothies before the inflamation goes down. on the plus side, at least it's portion control!0
