Haha I do the same thing so I must have a problem too! You know it's bad when you go to a restaurant with friends and you've got your face in an iPhone looking up info to decide on the most low cal thing to order!

Rotfl. I did that to my mom last week when we went out to dinner. I was logging everything I ate and was going to eat. Took me about 15 minutes. She kept asking what I was doing. I felt bad.

Yeaa, but it is a good thing. My husband thinks I have totally gone nuts with MFP. It's easy to do. The tracking is great, really keeps you in check. I love how it posts it to your friends! You get that nice little WooHOo! That makes you stand just a bit taller. Kiss your wife and tell her no worries. She will be happy to see the healthier happy you.
  • Tell her to Get Steppin...you are trying to sort your life out..kind of a biggy right now.

I Always record After I eat THEN CRINGE about it but say "Oh Well! It already went in". Not very good at meal planning. I do however go to healthydiningfinder.com before we go to a restaurant or to the restauraunt's Website. We have a $25 gift card for Chili's we're gonna use on Tuesday instead of Monday to avoid the crush so I get to see what I'll have there ahead of time. Def a mixed Drink though

This is actually a great strategy and takes the least amount of time to do.

lmao!! I went on my phone at a restaurant, logged it into diary so i can find out the lowest calories lol

This is actually a great strategy and takes the least amount of time to do. Just type in the restaurant name and see all the things that come up. The calories are shown in the list.

I generally log while I am eating, but only if I am eating in front of my computer anyway (ie, breakfast right before work and lunch "break"). Dinner and evening often waits until later or the next day if the computer is already shut down.
  • My husband and I have both been known to do this!

It doesn't even phase my fiance anymore, he knows exactly what I'm doing.

My husband said something similar to me recently too. "You know you spend a lot of time on your phone recording what you eat." And I do... I admit. I try to log it when I eat it. Usually during dishing it up or before I sit down to eat it. Every lunch you'll find me in the staff lounge, phone in hand, logging my lunch for the day...

When you're logging marital-relations calories in the moment THEN you might have a problem....

That is why the lady should do all the work.

I am going to get hammered for that one aren`t I? eeek.gif

Sorry, meant to tag on to that...

You know, you burn more calories when you're on top! lol
  • Soooooo wish I had done this at Applebee's yesterday! Ha ha thought I, It's a very late lunch, I'll make it lunch and dinner, I can have what ever I want. Idiot. Did you know the Provolone-Stuffed meatballs with fettucini has 1580 calories? I do now. Took all the fun of the day away in one swoop.

I take my laptop into the kitchen with me every morning before work to enter my breakfast. While I'm making my lunch for the day I enter it too. Then when I get home and make my dinner the laptop follows me again. I'm CONSTANTLY on this site. If I could log in at work, I would (no smartphone for me either). I'm pretty sure work would not get done if I had access to my diary/boards.
