Black Eyed Peas! They have so many songs with great beats that keep me going!
    2nd that!
I also love any hard rock song like Skillet's "Monster", TFK "Rawkfist", "Welcome to the Jungle", or any Pink/OutKast/Christina Aguilera/Fergie pumped up songs.

Disclaimer: I have a predisposition for showtunes and music we listened to when I took dance classes in the 90's.

    Ladies Choice - from "Hairspray!"
    anything by Technotronic
    Little Less Conversation - Elvis
    Dance Commander - Electric Six
The Cup of Life - Ricky Martin (sounds stupid, but it gets me moving)
Slave 4 U & Stronger - GLEE (they're borht Britney Spears songs, I believe, but I only heard them on Glee)
    Sweat - Inner Cirle
    Mr Vain - Culture Beat
    Jessie's Girl

Can't think of anything else as I've apparently deleted my workout playlist. I only used it for the treadmill, which I've not had access to for a year.

I think you can have iTunes sort by BPM (beast per minute), to give you a playlist of upbeat stuff. Most 80's stuff was pretty upbeat, too, so pick your favorite 80's tunes.

My current faves are a lot of the songs on the Billboard Top 100 for 2010!

Although I think you have a playlist long wnough to last a year....you could try the Ministry of Sound series....and if you like to run...some contemporary piano pieces somehow work better than trance....

OK I don't mean to sabotage a thread, but, how about we turn it into post a playlist?

    RULES:
Playlist must be 10 songs long (average song is about 4 minutes making it a 40 minute playlist)

That's it (feel free to include warm-up and cool-down tracks.
