How long do you wait to work out after having something to eat?

Depends how large the snack and how hungry I was. If I ate a full meal..then I wait like 3 hours. IF I was kind of hungry and had a light snack..like an apple..about an hour. I figure every 100 calories..I wait an hour.0

If you're doing cardio, eat before that way you can use the immediate caloric energy. If you're lifting weights, eat after your workout to help muscles recover.0

An hour is the minimum I usually wait! Just like they say, ``wait an hour after you eat before swimming!``. Food begins digest and convert into energy to fuel your workout and cuts down risk for cramps. Another important rule to avoid cramps is to stay hydrated.

I have a big orange (220g) or a big banana (120g) with a little bit of yogurt (50g) and I work out in approx. 40-60minutes. I can still feel the food in my nose sometimes haha...0
