FYI the 30 Day Shred kicked my *kitten* yesterday! My thighs have hurt more and more as the day goes on. I couldn't do my hour on the elliptical tonight because my legs were to sore. But I will be back at it tomorrow! =]

I know some of you have done the Shred. Just wondering if you hurt the whole time doing it or got better as you went. I know being sore is a good thing it means you are working it. I just want to figure out my plan.

Sabrina I glad that you are back and in recovery mode! Much love and hope your back up and at it soon!

It gets better and the soreness will go away. One thing that really helped me when my thighs were sore was doing the leslie sansone walking video right after the shred. I only did like 15 min of it but it seriously helped stretch things a little more. :)

A WORD TO THE WISE: Go out to your local library and pick up an inspirational non-fiction or self-help book. It doesn't matter which one, you will be drawn to the whichever one you are meant to read. Sign it out and read a little bit in the mornings, at night, or whenever you get a chance. If I hadn't have started reading these kind of books when I was 13 (I read Unlimited Power) I don't know where I would be right now.

There's such a wide range out there. If you don't know where to start try: * Jack Canfield * Dr. Wayne Dyer * Dr. Phil, Deepak Chopra * Shakti Gawain * Anthony Robbins * Rhonda Byrne * Louise Hay * Norman Vincent Peale * Miguel Ángel Ruiz * Honestly, their books can change your whole attitude if you approach them with an open mind. Read something positive, and read it often!

I totally agree... check out operation beautiful online too...

This week was a tough one .. what I mean by this is I only exercised 3 days ( because I was up visiting family fora few days ) So , I did infact expect a gain,
    Last week 164.0
    This week 164.4
A gain of 0.4 of a pound which isnt at alll horrid..
This week coming up I will be exercising like I normally do!
I am gonna kick the 160's but!! And leave them behind with a big smile on my face!

So Snowflakes....how did we feel about this past week in a nutshell? And the most important question that I want all of us to answer is...Did you give it 100% this week? Why or why not? If you did...how so? If you feel like you didn't...what obstacles were in your way? Be honest and forthcoming. At the stage in the challenge, I want us all to be as honest as possible so other Snowflakes can lend a helping hand!

I know I always say this...but I'm extremely proud of all of you! Thank you for inspiring me everyday! ;flowerforyou:

Hmm....This past week was not great for me. I stayed under my calories but I only worked out 3 times. My obstacles have been these damn migraines I have been having. I have been getting them everyday and it is definately killing my motivation, it is hard to want to work out when you feel like your head might explode!!:explode:
Another thing is I have been really stressed out, I have been trying to get everything together to apply for the sonography program that I desperately need to get into, its all due the 15th and I havent even written the essay portion yet. Also we are having our daughter evaluated because she is behind in her milestones...which scares the crap out of me. She is 16 months old and she is still not talking at all. She makes noises that sound like mama and dada but we arent sure she knows what she is saying....I havent even weighed for the week yet. I have been so stressed I dont even want to step on the scale and see a gain to add to my stress, I am going to weigh in in the morning though....
I did however get a bit of inspiration last night as well as some jealous feelings LOL--I went to visit one of my good friends who had a baby 3 months ago and you cant even tell she had a kid!! here I am 16 months later and I still cant even fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans, and shes already in hers!! :grumble: Not to mention she didnt get 1 damn stretch mark and I am completely covered!! My stomach will never look normal again, and its just not fair!! But seeing how great she looks really makes me want to step it up, I mean seriously my kid is almost 2!!! :noway: I just want to feel good about myself again. I want to feel beautiful again, and I want to feel sexy again. I mean this may be TMI but I dont even take off my shirt when I have sex!!!!---I just feel so disgusting I dont want my BF to see it....
Monday I will be starting level 2 of 6 week 6 pack dvd which means I will be at the halfway point after my workout tomorrow!! So I am going to try to do level 2 for 3 weeks straight, it seems like taking breaks just throws me off and it is harder for me to get back into it once I have taken a day or two off!!
So my goals for this week are:
    Workout Everyday!!!
Stay at 1400 net cals daily!!!

Hey girl! I know what you mean exactly about only being able to exercise three times this week , I was the exact same!!
Dont worry about this I know you are in it for the long haul!!! I am so sorry to hear about your baby girl , I hope everything is fine with her and ill be sending postive vibes your way!!! LOL girl about that good friend that you had some jealously towards , dont sweat it !! You will reach your goals and be a "hotmommy " lol You dont need to look into a mirror you are always beautiful !!!, :flowerforyou: LOL @ the comment about leaving your shirt on . omg i do that too hahha I am just too uncomfortable but we will get over that I promise :) Take care girl

I modify the moves in L3 that make me really sore. I still get a great workout, but my muscles don't feel like they're gonna fall off!! Give it what you got, and pull back a bit when you need a break. It does get better. I'm still doing knee push ups, but I can actually DO them for the whole time now! When I start over, I'm gonna try full push ups, at least in L1!

I agree with glittersoul... Stretch often. Great idea to do Leslie Sansone walking right afterward. I did that once or twice too.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
