i would disown him as a "husband" you should take all of his favorite clothes to the cleaners and have them taken in so they are all suuuuper tight... then you can be like... uh dude.. whatever the hell YOU'RE doing... AIN'T workin...0

17 pounds in 6 weeks.....DAMN im jealous.0

You should talk to him about it. Let him know how that made you feel. I have offended many people in my life without knowing it.0
-
that's whey you have that out of body experience and you see yourself going for his neck like a lion in the wild!!0
-
OH! he needs to me smacked up side the head! KARMA!!!!!
You are on the right track! you are doing this for yourself! I would NOT let him know I was still working out or even trying to lose weight. I would not even speak of it. And girlie when you go on vacation this summer you get the most revieling suit you can get, something even too hot for beyonce' and when he notices heads are turning just wait for him to say, WOW all these men are looking at you, that when you speak up and say "OH i thought you could not notice? well, I guess they do!"0 -
Bad bad hubby!!!
Mine said to me last night when he grazed my bum as I was making dinner - "Damn, you're getting a little jiggly". I turned around, spatula in hand, ready to strike and said "WHAT did you just say??!?" He said (fear in his eyes) "That's a good thing!" I proceeded to ask him, still armed with my spatula, "In what world is "jiggly" a good word used to describe your wife's *kitten* when she's been busting it to lose weight!?" He explained to me that what he meant was, I had lost some weight in that area and it seemed to move differently when being touched.
Although his words were incredibly mean, you also have to remember that husbands, well, men of any sort, are completely dumb when it comes to expressing themselves. I hope for his sake that what yours meant at that time was "You look great, keep up the good work".0 -
Yeah he definately did not think before he spoke about it. Oooppppsss u are doing amazing and sometimes we say the wrong things, we are men after all. No but in all seriousness, I think you are doing amazing and ur hard work you are seeing it who cares what he thinks, you are indeed doing it for you congrats so far and keep up the great work mmkay.0

That's just rude.0

OMG....I can be pretty cluless at times but that? Never!0
-
Wow.
And I thought, "It looks like you're losing some of that gut," was overly harsh..... Also, in reply to the dangerous 'do I look fat in x' question: "not any fatter than you look in the rest of your clothes."

AHA! I don't mean to laugh, but my boyfriend did something stupid like that as well. He is THIN as a stick and can eat practically anything. I was complaining about being on this diet and how it's so hard to eat a certain amount of calories. I was done my calories for the day, but I was still SOOOOO hungry. And then he went and ate chocolate and ice cream proceeding to say "Haha, you're not me, YOU can't have any." I get that he was teasing but really? Men, correction, BOYS are idiots. -.-0

OMFG...I would slap my husbands face if he said that.0

I am sorry but your husband sounds like an *kitten*!!!!!!!! How's his body BTW!?!?! jerk. My hubby would NEVER say that to me~ rude and inconsiderate. Comments like that are what cause married woman to look for positive attention from men other than their husbands!!! Someone said no sex for a wekk pshhh-- more like a friggin month!!! That would make me feel SO insecure. You look great congrats on the loss and keep up the good work.0
-
Prove him wrong. I would shove it in his face once you succeed. But don't let it get to ya. Men will be men. Sometimes they speak before they think. In all honesty, he probably didn't mean to say it like it came out.
Isn't that more of a reward???0 -
UGH, my boyfriend says the same kind of things. Usually I'll be real excited about dropping a few pounds and he'll say he can't see a change at all >_<
Just go blow off some steam at the gym and ignore it. :P He probably doesn't mean it the way it sounded.0 -
CAN'T LIVE WITH THEM, CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT THEM (OR SO THEY THINK) AND YOU CAN'T JUST SHOOT THEM. DAMN THE LUCK!!!!!0
-
MEN!!!! Typical.....foot in mouth disease.
Common, maybe...but NOT all guys are like that. It broke my heart to hear someone say that to another human they claim to love.
