This thread is one in which a new fitness and dietary challenge is posted each week. We also post our weigh-in numbers for the week on Monday (when the challenges actually start). Lets keep this rolling!

Here are the challenges/format to post for this week: (ANY one can join in at ANY time!)

FITNESS CHALLENGE:
Complete 210 Jumping Jacks this week. That’s an average of 30 Jumping Jacks a Day (does not have to be consecutive). If you are unable to complete Jumping Jacks, do something else that will get your heart rate up.

DIETARY CHALLENGE:
Stay under your Sodium Goal __________________________________________________________________________________________

    I want to join. I have been trying to keep my sodium down. I don't add any extra to my food but it still is alot at the end of the day. Jumping Jacks is my least favorite thing todo, this challenge will help me to do them.

    Can new people still join ? If so I would love to. I need some help staying motivated. I have been rather lazy lately and a little down and I jhust really need something to boost me up again.

    this means i have to keep my sports bra handy lol i hate looking for it which is why i normally dont do jumping exercises haha

    This sounds fun! I have to wait about two weeks for the doctor to clear me for exercise, but I look forward to participating in the future!

    What is a good goal for sodium??

    I've never paid ANY attention to it. If age/weight matters I am a 25 year old female and 151 lbs.

    Taco: the national recommendation is to stay under 2300 mfp's is 2500. Either one is great! Good luck!

    This challenge sounds like a lot of fun!! I am definitely interested however, I just had a partial hysterectomy exactly 1 week ago. My doctor's app't is on Friday. I'm not sure when I will be cleared but, wanted to know if when I am cleared for exercise if I could still participate?

    I have been watching my sodium and reduced it to 1500 in my diary. I have also increased my fiber to 25-30 per day.

    This sounds like a lot of fun and a great way to meet new friends!!!
