    I struggled with the same thing. went with the ft7. LOVE IT! i like that it holds the info... and when i workout on a machine... it transmits my hr to the machine so i dont have to keep checking the watch. totally worth it to me.

    Does the FT4 transmit the HR to the machine at the gym too?
