Eating the same thing everyday for 5 weeks would get boring fast! But the idea of weigh x amount in 5 weeks is motivating.0

Hasn't worked for me. Then again, I've hit a weight plateau and no extra exercise has made my weight budge so far. Bummer.0

Thank you, My Fitness Pal, for having this tool.
It told me I was going to gain weight, and it was right on.
It helped me to turn around.
I think it's a great motivational tool, and a sharp eye opener!0 -
Thanks for all of the responses
It is definitely a good motivational tool because that is my favorite thing to do after I enter in my food entry for the day. I'm going to mark it on my calendar and see how accurate it is like some of you suggested.

I copy it into my food notes and look at my computer calender for 5 weeks ahead, then mark that day.0

5 weeks is just like tomorrow.....it never comes.....there is only today.0

I use it as a "hey, when you behave well like today you'll be... " in 5 weeks, or when I had my full rack of ribs it said I'd only be down 1 lb in 5 weeks! I use it to motivate me and go, ok, today wasn't so good, lets not eat like that tomorrow and get back on track.0
