    Yay, 1.5 this week, even after my Vegas weekend! I guess dancing off those drinks really worked, lol. Also, I did a weigh-in after my 10k this morning, and it said 181.8! Obviously I'm not going to log that, but it was nice to see!

    I am going to keep my weight the same this week. Early last week I saw below 140 again but then 2 days ago I saw 141. I have been off course all week with friends visiting but I will leave the weight the same because I am not sure how much is water weight and how much is true weight gain.

    Good morning my 20 in 20-ers! We're at Week 8 now, getting close to the half way point! I've been calorie zig zagging with rather good results, I was in the 140s for 4 days in a row from Thurs-Sunday, sadly my indulgences with my boyfriend yesterday had me back in the 150s, but I had a great weigh in this past Thurs and I'm excited to see things moving again!

    We haven't had a challenge in a while, and something my boyfriend said yesterday made me really happy. I was talking about my 5K from this weekend (beat my firs t5K time by 3 minutes with a finishing time of 36:25!!) and he said "ya know, I'm thinking of getting into running!". That made me so happy! I've been trying to corrupt him in a good way with my healthier habits.

    So, your challenge:
    Corrupt someone with your healthy lifestyle! Make a healthy meal for your family, convince the significant other to eat a lower calorie option at a restaurant. Go for a walk or bike ride with your kids or a friend. Anything to get other people on the healthy bandwagon.

    I actually gained .8 lbs this week. I'm not the happiest about it but I think I am leveling off a little after losing over 5 lbs last week. I am all over this week's challenge, I think I am an unofficial spokesperson for MFP! I will tell anyone who will listen all about MPF & how great it is here! Good luck to everyone this week!

    Hey!

    is it too late for me to join?! I started logging on this site on 3.29.11. But, today is the first day i went looking for a 'challenge.' Si nce then, I've lost 7.2 lbs. my weight loss from last week was 0! but, i'll take it, went up in the middle of last week and came back down over the weekend. i'm shooting for 1 lb a week and it's week 7 for me. slow and steady, for sure. i'm thinking joining a 'challenge' group will help me not get so down when my weight doesn't move or goes up. seeing what's normal for others will help me, i think. i bump along, up and down, overall down, but those bumps are still scary...

    Hi Melissa! We had closed the challenge a few weeks ago, but I'll bend the rules and let just one more person in. Esp since its your first challenge! Just add your name in alphabetical order to the list with all the info (SW = Starting weight in the challenge, CW is current weight, GW is the goal you want at the end of the challenge in 12 weeks).

    Thanks again for letting me join!! If I counted right, the last weigh in day is August 8th. That's my mom's bday. She'll be 60! My bday is coming up next week. Sorry, bdays on the brain. Stayed even this week. It's fine with me, though. I had a 2.4 lb loss last week! So, I maintained that!! I'll take it!!! :D

    Hello!!

    I haven't logged my weight in over 3 weeks as I was seeing a lot of fluctuation. But since the past 3 days or so it's been below 135lbs. There has been fluctuation but hasn't been over 135. So, I'm logging that today.

    Back to posting early again, lol sorry! I'll be travelling tomorrow, and I don't know when/if I can get online. So here goes.
    3 pounds this week, and I honestly don't know how that happened, lol. Maybe that 10k last Sunday really did kill them for good, lol. I'm not complaining!

    I'll be home (Michigan) all this week, so hopefully my plan of getting a week pass to a local gym helps counteract some of my dad's cooking, lol. I'm excited for lasagna and some of the other dishes that I can't even begin to make!!

    Hey everyone! This is Week 9! Almost halfway there! I managed to be up 0.3 lbs this week, but I've been stuck above 150 again for the past week it seems like. Drat, I thought I had gotten it down there for good! No idea what I really need to do at this point, it seems nothing works that I try. And I keep getting somewhat off track on the weekends. Who knows at this point....

    Between TOM and 2 races in the last 2 weeks my weight has been up and down. Today it's 149- the same as 2 weeks ago and I'm ok with that, since it's a good place to start. I have no races planned for the next while so get to go back to basic running and back to eating right. That is my goal this week is to make healthy choices with good portion control.
