Hey guys&gals, yeah I'm back at it with another hockey post, haha! I just can't help myself. Being that the season is dwindling down before our eyes, I've got a few questions for yinz!

Bubble teams: Who makes the final cut? (East and West)

Will there be a "cinderella" team this year?

& who are your favorites to make it to the finals, & who wins it all?


If you have seen my hockey posts before, you know I'm an avid Pens fan, sooo I end this post with a LETS GO PENS! :tongue:

    Flyers are of course my favorite and they are going to win!! Haha that is if they dont choke :mad: have seen some of that recently and im not liking it!!

    Although the last few games have had a bad odour...I'm a Habs fan thru and thru. :drinker:

    I love my Minnesota Wild...for awhile thought they might make it into the playoffs,:ohwell: but they're not looking too hot right now:ohwell:

    Even though we've been horrible, gotta stick with the Thrashers :)

    but if they dont make the cut as a bubble team, i'll have to go with the Bruins

    I bleed red. Huge flames fan. It's getting pretty tight at the bottom of the west though. They need to win the majority of their remaining games to have a shot at 7th or 8th. Big game on tuesday against the Ducks. GO FLAMES GO

    It doesn't look as though my beloved Leafs are going to make the dance in spite of a fairly decent late season push. I think you gotta like the Canucks and Flyers for the final, but this is the NHL so anything goes.

    HUGE Canucks fan, even though I live in London now I've always followed them in London since I left Vancouver 11 years ago.

    Yeeeaaah, that's not looking so good right now. But at least we have a pretty solid 3rd string goalie with MacDonald.

    The playoffs shall be interesting for the Pens to say the least. They are 4-13-6 (I think, don't quote me) against Eastern Conference "playoff" teams and 0-7 when playing them at home. Not to mention our powerplay is 3 for the last 59. :noway:

    Goaltending has been stellar but I wish the offense would pick it up a bit. & how about a regulation win? :laugh:

    Pens are definitely struggling to score. A goal less per game since 87 has been out. Defense has been stellar though, for the most part. PP is ridiculous!

    I am a huge Canuck fan......................Go Canucks Go!!! I think they have a great shot to win the cup this year!!! They are on a great role right now, I hope it continues into the playoffs!!!

    Yep, Vive les Canadiens! I hope CBC gets it right this year and actually broadcasts their games. Stuck in the boonies without cable or satellite....

    Fleury could definitely use some offensive help, but I still think we have a good chance to advance. Definitely not going to win it all unless Sid does come back. Gotta love the fight in the team though.

    The fight in the team is crazy and what they have accomplished without Sid and Geno; still amazes me. I agree with you, the Pens are NOT a team to look past.

    Two weeks until the playoffs start!! Can't wait. Tickets go on sale this Saturday for round one here for the Canucks!!! :happy: :happy:

    Another Habs fans here. I'm burned out on regular season though -- never thought I'd say that the season is too long, but I'm feeling it now (we go to Vegas for NHL Awards in June, then FA day on July 1st is spent immersed in hockey and my fantasy draft was super early this year so it's been non-stop pretty much since last season. Can't wait for baseball tonight!). Think the Habs feel the same way. Haven't been out of playoffs all season and they're clearly not too motivated since there really isn't anywhere to go up.

    They play much better when they're desperate anyways.

    I'm in Leafs Country, so I'm going to cleanse my palate for a week with some baseball and will be fresh for the playoffs on the 13th!

    I'm late w a reply! BUT I don't know if you know that CBC streams games on their website. :) I'm in Ontario now so I don't get the Montreal games as much BUT I usually find them online streaming somewhere!!

    So proud of les boys!!! I hope I get to go to another playoff game this year... last year I went to game 6 of round 2 (basically the best game of the series, in my opinion) and it was AMAZING. God, I love the Bell Centre.
