    I have not done well this month :-( To much stress, and emotional eating, not enough exercise. I found out this week that my huny is being deployed over a month early! I am not doing very well right now :-(

    Ok i was TERRIFIED to get on the scale this morning. I have been eating ok,drinking lots of water but have had a hard time getting up early to workout. HOWEVER I was pleasently suprised to find out I lost!

    As the wife of a Navy retiree I can sympathize with you. Even though most people think the Navy is a "safe" military career .. believe me it has its ups and downs also. I don't know what branch of the military your husband is in but it's all hard to deal with at times. And when you say the word "deployed" that is definitely a clue that he will need our prayers .. as will you and the rest of the family. I just wanted you to know that I will be putting you, your husband and your family on my prayer list. ((BIG HUGS))

    He is in the Navy also. He is retiring next March so thnakfully this is his last deployment. Thanks for all your support because with him being gone I'll need it more than ever now.:frown:

    I'm SOO sorry to hear that. My husband isn't in the military, so I can't relate in that regard, but my husband was denied entry when we moved here in October (read my profile for more info), so it's been 6 months without him and we don't know when the paperwork will be done. SO I can relate to the suddeness of your situation, and the loneliness without your husband.

    hang in there--we are here for you, even if only by a little computer screen. ;)

    Apparently not exercising has been my secret for the last two weeks. :blushing:

    I try to drink enough water to fill our pool every day, I try to keep my net carbs under 75, I have my sodium under 900mg most days, I eat anywhere from 25-40 g of fiber a day depending on the day. I make a concerted effort not to eat anything past 6pm at night. I eat either creamy oat bran cereal or multi-grain hot cereal in the morning or a combination of both.

    Umm, I guess there's no real secret. This has been a good month for me, I guess.
