becoming single for the first time in more than 19 years.... and trying to figure out where to begin
I'm there with ya - 13 years. Been a year on my own now so if you're just starting out it does get easier. Nice time to focus on yourself!0 -

Still single and still Lovin it! I get my 'me time' and have plenty of time to hook up later in life again when I have polished a few things about myself. I also have learned much from my past experiences so I love being able to have the freedom to come and go as I please and hang with friends without feeling the need to check in with anyone else.
Single life can be pretty refreshing... the freedom is pretty great stuff!
I know some of you really really really want to not be single but sometimes we get hooked up and wonder why we ended up with that person and wish we had more freedom again.

=Dwhat do you mean by good girl? i've always been a good girl - loyal,l trustworthy, giving, loving, caring, etc and it seems men don't like that. don't get me wrong i'm not a push over, i don't take anyone's BS.....just curious to know what u or any single guys are looking for.
Guys and girls have this cross language thing going on I think. Add to that that everyone is too politically correct to say that they require a certain level of attractiveness (not necessarily super high...but everyone has standards...and they are usually higher than they're willing to let on you know?), and it ends up this huge mess of 'why can't I find someone???'.0 -

I often say I'm the MOST single person on the planet. I've actually never been in a full-on relationship...I enjoy being single way too much for that! Sure, there's that small percentage of time where I actually think I'd like to couple up but then I remember how much fun I have!0

I agree! I have been single for almost 2 years now and for the most part am ok with it, but miss the companionship too.0
I like being single....I've learned so much about who I am & improved myself in so many ways. Look at it as an opportunity to grow!
