we all know the song, is that really a healthy goal?

so, I'm 5'4".....I don't think my waist will ever get down to 24"

ANYONE WILLING TO POST THERE MEASUREMENTS?

    lol!! Mine is 36-31-39. Uhhh, I'm a little off. I do think it is realistic, but some people are shaped that way, others aren't.

    I don't actually know what would be a good waist size for myself. I'm currently 29" waist, but maybe 26" would be good? I'm not sure!

    Also, where's the first measurement? If it's under bra, then I'm 30.3-31 - 29 - 39 :frown:

    i'm a bit curvier by nature (aka bigger chest and butt), but i don't think the 36-24-36 is very realistic. i do have a 36 chest, but my waist, i don't think, is that small (24). i'll measure myself and get back to you. plus my hips are massive, so that's definitely a factor. i don't really pay attention to the measurements, i pay more attention to the pounds.

    Can't imagine having a 24 in waist!

    I'm 39-30-39 at 5'3''

    Before i gained weight i was 37-27-37 and if i wore my corset i could get by waist to 22in :p

    I am 36-32-38 Hoping to get down to 27 inch waist at least.

    24 is really small. I am 36-31-38. I would be happy to get my waist a few inches smaller. I don't think that 24 is realistic for my body but maybe someone else's...

    Sure, I'll post!! I'm 5'8" and, fyi, when I modeled as a teen, I never had those measurements - and I was very thin. I think back then (if I remember what was in my portfolio) my measurements were 37-26-38. Keep in mind, I was also an athlete at the time and worked out about two and half hours a day. Now (I'm still in a healthy weight range, according to BMI, and I'm a size 8/10) my measurements are 38-29.5-41. I believe that when says "36-24-36" he's referring to a kind of commonly held ideal from the 50s or something like that. Those numbers used to be tossed around as a kind of perfect, and he's saying that their not. So, I think Sir Mix-A-Lot would support you loving yourself at a healthy weight :happy:

    I don't wanna lose my girlies anymore but yes i would want my waust to go down to 26 at least.
