I am only 5 feet tall and getting back into my 27 pants... But my goal is to get into my 25s again. I wouldn't want to be in 24s, I think I would look too skinny then. It's all about body shape, I'm not super big boned, but I've got shape to me so I think I would have to starve myself to get into 24s!

I'm 5'3 and 37-27-37. My torso is so short I don't think I can have a waist that small...but if I ever do, my bust and hips will probably go down too...

So funny, I have the measuring tape right here and was getting ready to measure myself for the first time. You all are amazing and brave for posting your numbers, not that they're bad. Anyway, didn't see any other guys reply, just thought I would say keep up the hard work everyone!!!

Lets here them anyway! :) I'm sure you are working just as hard!!

    40/36/38

This waist number is really odd to me because my 36" jeans are huge and even my 34" jeans are loose. I know 12 weeks ago in January some of my 36" jeans were a little snug. So I guess it just goes to show, it's not the number on the clothes it how you feel and how you project yourself. I feel great!!!!

Wow that will probably never be me. My breasts will never allow me to be that small.

I am 40-32-38 but working my way down to 40-28-36.That would be absolutely ideal for me...me and my breasticles are together for the long haul of life...unfortunately.

currently 148lbs and 5'5" but wanting to be 130

35-27-37, 5'3" 122lbs gonna check-in again on friday. It took FOREVER for the waist and hips to get a little smaller. first my but changed shape, move from the flabby on the sides to nice, tight, and high in the back.

36-24-36 only if she has fake boobs.

I'm 5' 3" and 36-29-44. I have been a 36-24-36, but that was back in highschool. I'm pretty sure my butt will never get back down to 36 (unless someone chizels some hip bone off!) and I wouldn't want it to. I like my big butt! Would like to get my waist back down to about 26 though.

My sister had one of those perfect 36-24-36 figures in high school and early 20s. She was just very blessed like that. Things have shifted a bit after kids but she still looks good.

My waist was never as small as her. I'm 34-26 -36 and 118 lbs and 5'3.

would love to lose another 2 inches off the waist but I think I'd have to stop eating! And those hips aren't getting much smaller either.

When I got married I was 34 24 33, 5'3.5", 104. Right now....well, let's just say I am here for a reason. I don't intend to go that low again- my GW is 108. HOWEVER I have to add that I have a VERY small frame- tiny bones, etc. My rib cage (under bust) at that time measured 28." Just last week I was taking measurements for one of my 11 year old competitive figure skating students who is very thin (maybe 70lbs) but has a relatively wide rib cage, and her waist measurement was 24.5. And I have to emphasize that this girl is tiny! I couldn't believe it. So it really does come down to how you are built, and there are very few people out there who could realistically achieve those measurements.

Right now I'm a 40-31-39 (almost a perfect hour glass, just a few inches need to be tweaked here and there)

when I'm done losing weight I'm sure I'll be about 36-26-36

    I'm 5'6 and half

Hahaha, I love that song! Although, an ex used to associate the song "Honkytonk Badonkadonk" to me (I hate that song, too *ugh* lol).

    That said, I'm about 5'3" or 5'4" (I say 5'3") and as of Saturday 4/2/2011 I was 155.2 pounds and 36.5-35-40.5.

I don't see myself ever having a 24 inch waist either. lol That's just tiny!!!

    only if she's 5'3"

we all know the song, is that really a healthy goal?

so, I'm 5'4".....I don't think my waist will ever get down to 24"

ANYONE WILLING TO POST THERE MEASUREMENTS?

I'd love to know where this idea of the "perfect measurements" began, because it's so random.

But sure, I'll post my measurements at the moment: 42.5"-35.75"-41.25". And I'm 5'7".

When I'm back down to goal weight, it will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 38-27-37. No one complained about it when I was that size. (I wasn't ever happy--that's just my nature--but everyone else was.)

Don't get stuck on the numbers. Aim for a place in which you feel comfortable, energetic and proud. No one is going to be following you with a tape measure, believe me. And many of the bodies that we believe to be the most beautiful are not 36-24-36. Beauty is about you and your individualty.

I don't recall who said this, but I want to say it was Edgar Allan Poe, of all people: There is no true beauty without some strangeness in the proportion. I like that idea--it's our differences more than our sameness that makes us stand out! Better yet, it seems to be true. when you think of who exemplifies beuaty to you, odds are they are not perfect mannequins--there is some singular feature that stands out.
