My husband and I agreed that most of these paintings had better technique and depth and were more interesting and visually appealing that what we recently saw in two of our local art museums. So either you are the best artist on the planet...or our art museums suck! LOL But, seriously, they are very good!

VERY good! The only critique I have is:

When using charcoal, I use a Rembrandt white pastel in conjunction with the black charcoal in order to push the values. The charcoal drawings could use a little more value in them and the rembrandt adds incredible dimension to a charcoal piece and it's easy to use. Look into that if you don't already use some sort of white pastel/charcoal.

The Audrey one is a little off, but that Warhol style of art is incredibly difficult to get right...way harder than it looks. Warhol-esque art was my concentration in AP art back when I was in HS so I know how annoying it can be to get proportions right without any value lol

Hand Style is amazing, my favorite. Amazing detail!
  • Incredible! You have a very good eye!

Honestly when people put their artwork up on messageboards and ask about it, it's usually crap. But yours is really really well done. You are obviously a very talented artist who understands the concepts such as elements of design that are needed in art to make a piece work . So, nicely done and keep it up.

thanks for the advice! i definately have noticed my charcoals dont have as much tone as they could have, my art room has white charcoal but i just have never thought to use it!

wasn't Britney Murphy's pig in "Uptown Girls" named Moo? I could be wrong but that is what I thought of when I seen the title!

You're better than 99% of the students in my art classes in college. And better than a good chunk of the instructors, too.
