We are a traditional couple and do it every Friday & Saturday night. My husband gets to do it every lunch during the week, but alas, not me.

Too bad most people are doing exercise 5 times a week!

Once a month....or every couple months, with a lot of planning ahead.

We pack lunches and cook our own dinners. With my and my son's food allergies there is a lot of chance of cross contamination and one or both of us getting sick. Plus it is much better for our savings account to prepare our own food at home.

My wife and I can not do drive throughs because it takes to long and with gas being so high. We are just quicker if we go in and do it.

I have learned to like something at McDonalds though...the snack wrappers (grilled of course).

Yulp...then I'm like, "HEY SUPER SIZE IT!" :drinker:

When we lived in town, it was so easy to just pop over to Mickey D's or Burger King whenever we had an urge, sometimes twice a day. But now that we live in the country we might eat out maybe once or twice a month, that's usually planned as a special treat!

We (of course) have to have our Tim Hortons coffee every other day, or whenever we're passing by a Tim Hortons! =oP

When I first read your heading...I thought..NO WAY....but didn't realize you were referring to eating out

Maybe I am a tad frugal, but we NEVER eat out
I'm just not a fan and see it as a big waste of $$
Plus the kids get way too easily addicted to fast food and those darn kids meals...
I was recently reading that one kids meals has the number of cals a child should eat in an entire day

Seriously though, if we want to order or eat out it's usually pizza..or rarely Chinese

    Kim

I read the same article about the kid's meals too! *shocked* And we thought eating the kids meals in lieu of a grown up meal was ok...sheesh.

I'm also pretty tight with a dollar - so I like to eat at home too, but hubby is a fast food/restaurant afficinado. I have to keep a pretty tight rein on him, lol. Before healthy life style - we ate out 3-4 times a week (YIKES!), and now I eat out maybe 3-4 times a month (going out with the girl friends, special event, etc.) Hubby still makes regular runs to McD's for breakfast/lunch tho
