"the more you get the more you want" sex, food, sleep, water, exercise, money, alcohol, etc. no matter what ''it'' is the more of ''it'' i get, the more of ''it'' i want. vs. the less i have ''it'' the less i want ''it''. am i thee only person like this b/c i dont understand it at all. lol.

    Same here. "The less I get it, the less I want it" part is a good thing though considering my husband is in the Navy. About a month into a deployment, I no longer think about it much.

    You are not the only one. I was thinking of this yesterday. I was thinking, Subway really isn't that good for you because by the time you get done with a foot long...then I thought, why do I have to have a foot long sandwich?? That is bigger than a normal sandwich I pack for lunch, why can't I just eat a 6 inch like normal people. Then I thought, I would rather not have it at all than only have a 6 inch. How stupid is that? But it is the truth, one little taste and I want more so I would rather not do it. Same thing with alcohol. Can't have just 1 beer. Something to do with addictive personalities I think? I don't know for sure but it would be nice to be able to enjoy reasonable amounts of everything rather than the all or nothing mentality. The taste everything, eat nothing idea is completely LOST on me.

    Yeah, the first month is pretty bad but then I get used to not having it so it just becomes normal. Which I'm really glad of because if I had to spend all 6-8 months the same way I do the first month, I'd be a wreck. :laugh: Is yours in the military too?

    Totally agree with Sun. In fact, I want as much as I can get and more! I am a glutton when it comes to sex.

    Among my friends, it's no secret I gave up sex for Lent and let me tell you I am counting down to Easter and trust me...I'm getting laid and I'm going to make sure I'm getting laid good and hard. In fact, I'm gonna do it several times that day! With and without a partner! :drinker:
