Has anyone else seen the ads that say "Click here to see the five foods you should never eat to have a trim tummy"? I know they are just trying to sell something so I never click, but my curiosity is getting the best of me! What are the five foods? (There is always a picture of a banana, but I LOVE bananas!)

As I went to read this post, that was exactly the ad that was displayed for me!!

I just googled fried coke and ... ugh!

It seems you can also buy:
    deep fried butter
deep fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches
    deep fried biscuits and cakes
    deep fried peaches and cream
    deep fried bacon

The list goes on. All at this fair in Texas. Sounds truly horrifying.

Yellow snow is my guess. I almost never eat it. LOL

    Ha! "Almost never" ??????

    Love it!

I think they would attract more people if they didn't stick a banana on the front of the ad...it just makes it look like there's definately something fishy going on. All my ads are wedding ones at the mo....I think they alter like the facebook ones....they focus on your recent searches and interests.

I hate deep fried anything....but I can't believe they can get away with making this stuff....the worst thing is...people obviously buy it! :noway:

I really don't believe the hype about a body not being able to process high fructose corn syrup. According to the corn growers association, sugar is sugar as far as your body knows. The key, like everything else, is moderation. Maybe this is one for Myth Busters!

I DO believe deep fried anything is not your body's best friend however! I HAD to try a deep fried Twinkie at the Iowa State Fair last year, never again, it was NASTY!

i dont know either, but mick, you made me laugh so hard:laugh:

Made me laugh too, those are the best things you could eat.

I would put safflower oil, heck all veg oil, on the don't eat list.

    1. Fecal matter
    2. Human flesh*
    3. Plastic fruit
    4. Toenails, not even your own
    5. A salad, after Jagermeister

Bad experience with the salad /Jagermeister combo?

I would not click on those, however, I would go with

    1.) Lard
    and
    2.) Bacon Grease
    and
    3.) Butter with a spoon
    ... just for starters.

    Who's got more?? Lol.

I eat bacon and butter. Just discovered how great ghee is if you like butter. But it's allowed on low carb diets and Weston A Price (a foundation on food studies related to natural farm foods & healing) .. etc. Fat is my friend.

Ok maybe I don't eat butter with a spoon though.

I'm thinking pizza after my splurge tonight! Oh well, a lot of calories but it was my Easter treat as I don't eat much chocolate and I've been to the gym everyday for the past 5 days.

I can't believe I read the word "fried coke" and "krispy kreme burger"
Please tell me you are joking... Or if not, tell me how this can be so???

No, seriously! Fried coke is a delectable cup of garbage - it's dough made with coke, deep fried into little hushpuppy things, then put in a cup and drizzled with straight coca-cola syrup... and whipped cream!!!! It even has it's own wikipedia page :P

And I've never had a krispy kreme burger, but... yeah, ew.

If I ever go to the States I'll have to go to a state fair! I love the way mfp has filled my head with unhealthy American food that I just really want to try!

    Funny responses!

I clicked the ad and here is what they say in the first 10 seconds:

    1 - Orange Juice
    2 - Artificial Sweeteners
    3 - Whole Wheat Bread
    4 - Margarine
    5 - Soymilk

The ad is for a site called BeyondDiet.

They say they'll tell all at the end of the video, but I watched for 10 minutes and still did not get to the end. Someone, please watch and let us all know what the final 5 are!

I actually found the video somewhat interesting. If I manage to get through it all, I'll send an update.
