Nature's Own Whole Wheat Bread Light - 40 cals per slice (2)= 80 cals
    Better N Peanut Butter 2 tbs= 100 cals
Smucker's Blueberry Jam (I got the blueberry from the perserves above) 1 tbs= 20 cals (2tbs)= 40 cals

*I got this from the database, seems that smucker's are pretty low and they even make a sugar free kind

    that equals........ 220 cals????

mmmm... your making me hungry. i am reliving the PB and fluff i had from lunch... so not as calorie friendly... o well i had room for it:bigsmile:

According to MFP, 1 cup grapes = 62 calories - where are you getting the 220 figure?

that is the number that I use too 62= 1 cup

I've been eating grapes throughout my journey and have lost 49lbs, so I'm good with 62 calories in a cup

    Smucker's - Natural Peanut Butter Chunky, 2 Tbsp (32g) 210
St. Dalfour - Wild Blueberry Preserves, 2 Tbsp 140
Sara Lee Bread - Hearty & Delicious Country Whole Grain White, 2 slice 240
    590 Zoinkies!!!

I love peanut butter and jelly...one night I had this for dinner and it was 714 for the whole dinner, including one and a half pb&J sandwiches, chocolate soy milk, a banana, and a serving and a half of honey wheat pretzels...and if my quick math is correct, you could have just the sandwich and a half for 338 calories...so if you really miss it...definitely look into lower cal options!

Pepperidge Farm - Light Style - Soft Wheat - Bread, 3 slice 135
Jif - Simply Jif Creamy Peanut Butter (Low Sodium/Sugar), 1.5 tbsp 143
    Smucker's - Simply Fruit -- Strawberry, 1.5 tbsp 60
    Bananas - Raw, 1 large (8" to 8-7/8" long) 121
Rold Gold® - Honey Wheat Braided Twists Pretzels, 12 pretzels 165
    8th Continent Soymilk - Light Chocolate, 8 oz 90
    Total: 714

According to my MFP log today
Green Grapes, 2 cup raw 220

Items with a "*" (asterisk) next to them are entered by one of your fellow "pals" and are not always correct - I think that is the case here.

There are alternatives to most things.. You just have to find what's best for you. That is one thing I love about this lifestyle change. Like Nutella, I get my chocolate fix and I get some good fat from the nuts it's made with! mmmmm nutella!

You all made me hungry for PB&J... AND, I had about 150 calories left so I fixed myself a half sandwich and I'm off to bed...

not enough calories left over to wash it down with a glass of milk tho... :grumble: had to make do with plain ole H2O...

    Peanut Butter lovers-
anyone ever tried PB2? Its a powdered peanut butter- I know what youre thinking YECH! I thought the same thing....GROSS. You mix it with water and....even grosser still, right?
WRONG. This stuff is amazing!! The calories are super low- easy to mix with anything ( shakes, smoothies, etc)

I dont have the nutr info off hand, but here's the website for the place that makes it-
    www.bellplantation.com

Honestly I'm one of those who need the real thing- I cannot stand the 'taste of diet' so this stuff surprised me A LOT- I thought I'd hate it, but It tastes excellent and the texture is somewhere between creamy and slightly crunchy....

Oh how I miss cheese, and I used to eat a whole can of olives for a snack.  If and when I eat cheese now I find I can signifigantly reduce the amount I use by shredding it. For some reason shredded cheese one ounce stretches farther than a 2 oz slice!

My family and I have completely made the switch from peanut butter to soynut butter. Seriously, my 8 year old won't even eat peanut butter any more.

The brand I use (Trader Joe's) does add some corn syrup, which I don't like, but if you look around a little you can find a brand without it...

    2 Tablespoons

    170 calories
    11 g fat
    0 g transfat
    0 mg cholesterol
    140 mg sodium
    10 g carb
    2 g fiber
    3 g sugar
    7 g protein.

I have a tablespoon on my trader joe's wheat free waffle each morning.

What does soynut butter taste like? Is it comparable to peanut butter? What I mean is-would a true peanut butter lover be glad she bought soynut butter? (I am guessing an iteam like this is non-returnable)

    Thanks:flowerforyou:

    I miss pb&j :(

Try PB2 its a powdered peanut butter (sounds gross, but really is good!!!) and fairly low in fat...you can get it at www.bellplantations.com (if that doesnt work, leave off the s at the end...)
Also, Trader Joe's has something called Better N Butter that is delicious and low...
    Blessings!
