I'm in I've got a few more then 10# but I would love to lose 10% bodyfat I'm at 16% right now0

:bigsmile: Yay I am in, when I started I had 13 pounds to lose, now I have nine. I reduced my weight loss to .5 pounds per week, (1400ish cals) and so far so good. I am having no problem drinking all my water now before i may have literally gone weeks without touching water:noway: and i make sure to at least eat 1300 of my 1400 plus my exercise cals if I have them, I was finally able to wear a bikini bottom i got about a month ago that was way too tight now I wore it today for the first time and looked darn good in it so anyways good luck to all of us remember when your body is in the healthy range it knows it is healthy and doesnt want to lose so slow and steady wins the race!!

So... how is this new group going to run, do we want check ups? Mini challenges, pushes, motivation?? What can we do to help each other reach our individual goals as a group?

may I join you all yoo? I have 5/ 6 lbs left to lose which is mostly hips and that belly ... since I've been doing this site my waist is down 1", my chest 1.5" (Boo hoo, I haven't much up there as it is) and my thighs1" each BUT the dear old hips and tum only 0.5" so I'm starting to look out of proportion!!:grumble:
I swim on weekend mornings and do loads of walking too but weekdays after work I usually only manage 30 -45 mins walk. I'm not really keen on gyms, has anyone any ideas on what I can do extra exercise wise to help this along? Realistically speaking this loss is really just vanity now as I am in a healthy range but I just want to lose a tad more and tighten it up If you know what I mean.

Well, I noticed a few have asked how we should go about doing this....I agree with a few for weekly check ins or something like that. I think since everyone has different weigh in days, that when your day comes up, just post on here. That way we keep updates and help with motivation. So far, I've gained a lb but I'm going to see what my body does when my weigh in day comes. I'm sure thats normal since my body is probably freaking out with the extra 300 calories going in. :noway: lol.0

Am 5' 8.5", and am around 147 would like to be 140 lbs.

I think for incentive for me to not cheat I am going to post my daily info here that way i will be less likely to cheat because others will see it.

Okay so I weighed in last night, not my favorite time of the day but I don't have a scale available in my room...
156 so up about 2 lbs since I last checked it? Maybe, I take it with a grain of salt but pants fitting looser so... oh well.

I need help! I would really like to join in, but I have been stuccccccccckkkk on these last few pounds for ages and don't know what to do!
I went up to 1460 calories a couple of months ago to have a nice slow weight loss. I am 5'9'' and currently weight about 140. I've got fat on my hips and thighs I'd like to lose, and a tiny bit on my belly. I think I would be most comfortable around 132 pounds, but the actual number doesn't really matter that much, as long as I've achieved the body I want.
I walk to work and exercise nearly every day, with lots of different activities:
Monday - netball game
Tues - Cardio Boxing class
Wednesday - yoga or rest day
Thursday - basketball training
Friday- Body Pump calss
Saturday- basketball game
Sunday - Body Pump class and usually a hike
I just don't know what else to do! I feel like I am doing everything right and just need some sort of advice or fresh idea to make things change!
Any ideas? Help!!0 -
Ah um... depending on your frame... not sure there is much to lose but you know your body better than me. I am also 5'9" and weight around 156 -- can't imagine 140 on me...
However, your goals are your goals.. we're all bumping up calories a little, and adding more cardio or more intensity and changing it up to see if that helps.

I have also heard zig zag dieting works, 1500 one day 2000 the next 1200 then 1800 I don't know but you could research and see if that's something you'd be willing to try. Your body could be used to the routine of it.0 -
