I did it!! a084.gifa084.gifa084.gif

I broke my old distance cycling record!

I put in 3 loops around my house today--the area around it--each one was 21.6

WHICH MEANS I RODE FOR 64.8 MILES!

Took me 5 hours and 10 minutes total--I took breaks at the house between each loop. Drink a total of 140 ozs of water plus 50 ozs of Electrolyte stuff. Got plenty of snacks on my break.

AND....DRUM ROLL PLEASE!

I DIDN'T HAVE A LOW! That's right, not even near to passing out on the side of the road like last time I tried this!

I also racked up 2,953 exercise calories!

Bids are now being accepted for extra exercise calories because there's no way I'll eat all of that!

Thats awesome, I got a bike today with a child seat and helmet for my lil man cruised around a bit and burned some cals It was so great!!! I am going to try and beat my amount of riding i do but is it normal to get a sore butt from riding. My mom said I would get used to it if i kept riding my seat is pretty wide though maybe my hip bones are in the wrong spot or something did anyone else get this problem?:blushing:

Oh yes, sore butts are the norm when you start! It goes away after a bit. But even after almost 5 months, mine occasionally gets sore. I got this stuff off Amazon.com called BUTT-R. It's a heavy cream you rub in {those} places and it helps! You put it on before the ride. Has helped keep me from developing "saddle sores"
