    Blue Blue Blue!!!!!

    I am doing well as far as calories and water so far.. I am going to start my Turbo Jam on Saturday I do believe. I just have not been able to get my butt going at 5:30 am to workout. Needs some motivation!!!!
  • GOOD LUCK BLUE TEAM...... :drinker: Got to get more water in.... but had one bad day this week but eating the protein w/ carbs is helping w/ all the craving!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Help!!! I'm always bad for gaining on the weekends. I'm going to a friends cabin this weekend to celebrate a birthday. The cabin usually means chips, munchies, big breakfasts, and a fair amount of booze!!! Also very little if any exercise! How am I suppose to get through the weekend without gaining? Any suggestions?

    Before you go why dont you make yourself a list of what you think you might eat and add it into your diary. Then you can see how many calories you are going to eat and try and figure out the way to do it with the least amount of calories. Try munching on baked tostito chips and salsa and maybe for breakfast make yourself a breakfast burrito. That way you can figure out how much eggs and maybe some salsa or some fat free sour cream or what ever you like to put in there. I really cant help you with the booze though. Dont know how to watch those calories unless you drink more water than booze. And then you will also know how many calories you have to burn off also.

    Me and you both!!! Fingers crossed that something will drop in the next 5 days. I have not gained, but holding steady. Calories looking good, but I really need to make myself start my workouts. Agh!!!

  • Hi blue team! I was just assigned to the blue team and am soooo excited about it! I have a question, what do you think a good goal weight is for the 16wk challenge. I am at 161 and put my goal weight as 130, but I'm not sure if that's too low. Any suggestions on how I should figure out my gw for the challenge would be great! I'm going to go buy a tape measure today so I will post my measurements a little later. I'm just telling you now, my waist measurement is not going to be pretty. I look like I'm 6 months pregnant so...I'm going to be a little depressed when I see it! :sad: Good luck everyone, I'll check back in with you later!

    Hello everyone,

    I am your fearless leader. I am sorry I was not in touch but was out of town when this all started and am now back and ready. I am currently trying to go through all the threads and get everyones weight, goals and measurements. It is proving to be hard. I am going to be sending all of you a friends request so we can all stay in touch for check in's.

    Sorry for the lack of communication on my part but it could not be helped!

    Ok,. I went in and started requesting to be all of your friends and there is this little rule in place on MFP that you can only make 5 friends requests in 10 minutes. So I guess I will have to do it 5 at a time. If I have not asked you by the end of the day then please send me a request yourself!!!

    I went out and bought a hr monitor watch with the calorie burner thingie. I hope it works ok. I dont have the money to go out and buy an expensive one. It seemed to work. I just did the Taebo amped workout but could only do about 33 minutes so far. It said I burned 490 calories on my watch so I hope that is good. I have officially not had a soda for 3 days now. I have been a little sleepy the past 2 days but then again no more caffeine for me and I have been working out everyday somehow even if it is walking. I am actually proud of myself so far. I started this website on Sunday I believe and I have already lost a good amount of weight. Its probably water weight though LOL. ALthough my aunt flo is here right now LOL.. Hope to talk to more of you guys later.

    Hi guitargirl. We are doing a biggest loser contest on here. We are divided up into 3 teams. Blue, (which is going to win) Black and Purple. I Think she had bruising on the mind when she was picking our colors. LOL There is a thread that says Biggest Weigt Losers wk 1 I believe and if you go there an say that you want to join she will add you on a team.

    A pound a week is about right. Since you're young, you may be able to do 20 lbs in 16 weeks, but I wouldn't go any higher than 1.5 lbs per week for the first 10 weeks, the go to 1 lb a week for the next 10 weeks.

    Hey Blue Team!!

    New member to the blue team and I am really excited. I really needed something like this to get me going again. I had been down 25 lbs earlier this year and then summer hit and I have gained almost all of that back and am not happy about it, so I know I can do this I just need to keep it going this time. Look forward to hearing all of your stories and supporting each other through this.:flowerforyou:
