Hope it isn't infected! Do you think it might be fractured? You must be feeling antsy though. I know I did when my foot was sore and I couldn't run!

    Ill be doing 12 - 12 - 12

12 eliptical, 12 bike, and 12 stairmaster today. Laying off the running on doctors orders, even though it feels fine now, I'm going to give it a full week just to be sure. Considering these things are all stuff I don't do very often, should be a decent workout for me.

Had a GREAT speed workout last night; 8 x 400m with 400 m jog in between.

Had a few Advil with my supper!

A nice comfortable 3 miles at lunch time today.

It's a BEAUTIFUL day here in NYC. Can't wait to get out here.

    Be safe.

Shannon, hope your foot is ok.

Off to run just 3 miles today, I did 5 the other day and it kicked my butt. I think it was the combination of increasing my weights for squats and lunges during body pump and then deciding to run like a mad woman the next morning.

I'm going to turbo boot camp tonight. I was with a resident for 4 hours at the hosptial last night. Didn't wake up early this morning before work for my run or spin class! But, I'll be good!
    I have a 100 mile bike ride this weekend!!! can't wait:bigsmile:
  • Hey runners! Got out and did 5 miles today. It was a pretty enjoyable run..now I am sitting here eating a bowl of steel cut oats with some pb..yum yum. Any how hope ya'll enjoy your thursday..the weekend is almost here!
  • Runner's... I didn't log in what I did yesterday, so here goes:

    10 minutes- bicycle
    15 minutes- elliptical
    15 minutes- stepper

It was a good workout, but I didn't feel I got anything from it however, I was STILL burning calories...

ANDDD.... for today... I ran a little over 3 miles. I FELT LIKE POOP... so I didn't want to force my body... I think I just need more sleep, it's been a hectic week I must say...

    Everyone have a good day!

    No, thankfully!

It's very small, so just a couple weeks & a lot of ibuprofen.

But, I prefer Merlot as my pain killer of choice.

Oh, whew! Well, I've had tendonitis 3x (achilles tendonitis, IT band, and tendonitis in my foot) and each time had to take 6+ weeks off. I think I'd rather have the hairline fracture next time!! J/k

    Take care!

Oh, yeah, better than advil! Take care my dear.
  • I got out and did my run this morning like I had said I would, but I didn't have time to post it when I got back befor I had to hurry and get ready and run out of house.

I only did my 3.?? this morning, but it was great to get out. If I didn't have to hurry back, I would have easily done a 6 mile this morning, maybe even more. But I still enjoyed the short run.

As it turns out I will get to run two days during the week for a while. I took later shift on mondays to run in mornings and because of doctors appoints every week for the next month and a half on Thursday, I will get to run. Sometimes even further than today.:drinker:

Oh, by the way, for those paying attention, they are going to move up my operation for October because one expander is leaking and so they are just gong to keep filling the one each week and hold off as long as they can and put in my permanant ones in October. :drinker: I am so happy about that, but any of the runs I was thinking of doing are in October, so I guess next year will be the marathon year.

See Ya!!:drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :smokin: :smokin: :smokin: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
