Today I'm grateful I have another day with my family (and many other things)! It's family night and we're going to make dinner together and skip ordering pizza!

Too many to name, but so grateful for another chance at life, to hug and kiss my daughter, to see my scale go down even though I've been naughty :)

1- That I'm awake with no headache after three days being full of a cold,
2- Considering I've eaten like a horse because I've been ill I've still lost 1/2 lb
3- It's payday AND the weekend

    -Get in!

I'm grateful that my son is getting his life together and that I get to see him tomorrow; for my other three wonderful children; and, for Janeen coming back into my life.

    I am grateful that
I have food to cook and serve
I have dishes to eat from and clean
I have family to love and argue with
I have a home to shield me from the elements that gets dirty
I have a bed to snuggle in that I make every day
I have pets to love and clean up after
I have the knowledge to realize the things that I often grumble about are the biggest gifts of all.
I am EXTREMELY grateful for the gifts I have in my life.

This is going to sound stupid, but my cat. Today's her 4th birthday, I found her outside after a huge storm when she was only a month old. When we first had her I was going through a bad emotional crisis that caused me to shut down and miss the last two months of my junior year, failing. Every day my mother and I fought on the issue because back then neither of us knew it was bipolar disorder and I spent my days at home feeding her, playing with her, cleaning the dog crate we had her in for a while, and even helping her when she had stomach troubles. She was moved into my bedroom right when I started staying home every day and she acted like I was her mother, every night getting under the blanket and suckling and kneading on my stomach like she would her real mother. Taking care of her and bonding with her got me through that rough time. So today when I'm reminded how long she's been with me, I am grateful because I don't think I could have gotten through without her.

I'm grateful that I am married to a man of integrity and he won't compromise that integrity because that seems like the "popular" thing to do or because of politics.
