I used an all-natural instant pudding and it worked just fine, so I imagine any instant pudding mix would work.

Thanks but what is instant pudding?

Over here we have angle delight, its a powder that you whisk 300mls of milk into then refridgerate. its served cold and is like a mousse type dessert....is that the same stuff?

    Thanks

That sounds close enough to instant pudding to work. It actually sounds like it might work better.

    UK Version

    9 Digestive Biscuits
150 ml of skimmed milk ( I say 150 ml as a full pack of angel delight requires 300ml)
2 tablespoons flora extra light or other low fat marg
125 g of low fat peanut butter smooth
(for the sake of calorie working out I have used sainsburys 33% less fat)
Half a pack (40g) of no added sugar chocolate angel delight
    Dream topping to top

Recipe name Choclate peanut butter pie

    Number of servings

    Serves 12people
Ingredients Calories Carbs Fat Sat Fat
    Angel Delight - Chocolate Sugar Free, 1/2 packet 182 0 0 0
    Sainsbury's - 33% Less Fat Smooth Peanut Butter, 125 g 666 40 44 8
    Flora - Extra Light Margarine (500g), 30 g 98 1 11 3
    Sainsburys - Skimmed Milk, 150 ml 53 8 0 0
    Mcvitie's - Digestive Biscuit Low Fat, 9 biscuit 630 84 27 7
Birds - Dream Topping (No Added Sugar)
    Made With Skimmed Milk, 47 g 74 44 6 5
    Add Ingredient
    Total: 1703 177 88 23
    Per Serving: 142 15 7 2
  • WOW these look yummers! I will try it but change out the peanut butter for lower in calories and fat to Pb2 (ever heard of it?) I use it in my protein shake and it is the best.

Feel free to friend me for some calorie free food for thought... Colleen (Seattle)

I made these with the chocolate PB2 powdered peanut butter, and it made them 92 calories each- and delicious!
  • I'm going to make it with PB2 too! Looks awesome!
