OPERATION: Skinny B*tch (5/13-8/13)

So I have been looking around for some challenges and whatnot, and can't really find what I'm looking for so I thought I would create a new one. ((The namesake given by an awesome friend who is also working hard at losing some weight))
I need some friendly and encouraging competition to keep me going.

Here's my concept: My birthday is in the middle of July (the 13th!! I have 2 months!!) and I want to look hot for that of course, but I am also doing my first 5k on July 30th, The Dirty Dash-- a 5k with lots of mud and obstacles along the course-- I'm so excited!!

ANYWAY, I figure if we make calories burned, weight loss, and nutrition goals week to week and include a specific challenge for everyone to strive to meet each week it may keep us on track.
With weekly check-ins on Fridays, a winner can be determined by percentages of goals met by the individual? If anyone has a better idea I'm open to suggestions.
Official winner will have bragging rights!! But everyone is a winner in my book for setting goals and striving to meet them! :happy:

    edit: Haha, i'm a loser that can't read. I'm totally in though :) I usually weigh-in on Mondays (because of another challenge) so instead of weighing myself on both days, I'll just be posting Mondays number.

    Yes you did great! Although I will encourage everyone to set a goal for burning a number of calories within the week. Mine looks extreme, but I work out six days a week!!
  • word! I have a wedding to go to at the end of July and that's my deadline. I have a dress I want to wear and I want to get down to at least 130 to not look like a ho in it...

    As for miles... good question... I'm up to about 17 miles right now since I started working out again two weeks ago. I put in about a mile and a half every day.

    Calories burned: 1000 - I'm slow going here. It's Tuesday with only 150 burned under my belt since last friday. I'm going to shoot for 1000 between today and this Friday the 20th. (1500/week here on out!)

    Cucumber water??? What's this?

    Its quite literally a nice cold glass of water with slices of cucumber in it, haha. You can also add lemon or lime for a tad bit more flavor.

    So.. I set my goal for this week to burn 1000 cals.. HELLO! I got a Wii this week and boxing for 15 minutes is 100 cals. I was huffing and puffing, but dang I can totally get to 1000 by Friday! Time to up that goal for next week!
