    When I was 17, I skipped my senior year of high school and went to college
    When I was 17, I thought I was hopelessly fat. My 33 year old self knows better.

    When I was 17 I drove a 74 plymoth duster. Blue with hot pink hubcaps and splashes down the side.
    I would spend the night at my best friends house so I could attend CYO dances with my boyfriend
    I lost my virginity
    I worked at Dairy Queen in Winnie TX
    and I couldn't wait to leave home.

    when i was 17 i moved out of home into a flat with my sister.
    moved from the country to the city
    we had no tv (and loved it)
    we had bean bags to sit on instead of a couch
    we used to eat pasta, pasta and more pasta (because it was cheap)
    we used to go clubbing together with the same id
    life was awesome (hey it still is)!!!

    When I was 17:
    It was 1996, I thought I was chubby ( yeah right! If I could look like that now!), I wore a bikini, I started college, Went clubbing all the time, thought I was in love all the time, drove a junker pickup truck with no radio and no AC, used the internet for the first time, thought I knew it all, and boy was I wrong.

    When I was 17....

    ...I wore Roller gear when I "partied" with my best friend.
    ...I still didn't have a driver's license.
    ...I spent as much time as possible hiding in my room from my dad.
    ...I would get home from school, bake a batch of brownies and eat the entire pan before my folks got home.
    ...I saw the original Star Wars 10 times and Grease 5 times.
    ...I did the gutsiest thing of my life; after my HS graduation ceremony, when the class was gathered in the auditorium for good-byes, I walked up and kissed the guy I had had a huge crush on for the previous two years -- we knew each other, but never spoke. He grabbed my shoulders and didn't let me go until the rest of the graduating class started cheering. I ran off embarrassed and I never saw him again, but it remains the best kiss I've had to date.

    When I was 17 I was learning to drive in my first beat up car my dad bought me for 250 dollars.
    When I was 17 I wore a two piece bathingsuit and thought very little of it.

    I weighed 280 lbs.
    I was a band dork.
    I didn't have my driver's license (not until I was 20 :grumble:).
    I thought I would go straight off to a big college far from home (didn't happen till 4 years later :laugh: ).
    I actually had some school friends (first time since grade school).

    I never partied.
    I worked at a Bed and Breakfast.
    I played tennis every day.

    I celebrated my 1 year anniversary with my boyfriend. We'll be celebrating 13 years this year (2 years married).

    When I was 17....I had no clue, thought my parents were stupid and I could do whatever I wanted with no conseuquenses....It is amazing 24 years later, the things that you learn. You learn your parents were pretty damn smart and you finally get something that resembles a clue.

    Had all A's
    Thought I was the *kitten*
    Never thought I'd be overweight
    Joined the Army two weeks after graduation and became an ADULT (eww)

    I was size "0"... thought i looked really good~LOL when i look back at those pics now,.. i look sick/anorexic!
    I had moved out and was working full time.
    Had a camaro and thought i was the ****:)
    Partied alot!
