    When I was 17
    I was 10lbs heavier than I am now.
    I never partied.
    I worked at a Bed and Breakfast.
    I played tennis every day.



    Wow I was really boring.

    I weighed 80lbs.
    I was a freshman in college.
    I went out clubbing every night.
    I was an assistant manager at a White Hen Pantry store.
    I was a hair model for Aveda.

    aahhhh...those were the good old days. :happy: :happy:


    A Hair model...that's cool. When I was 17 I had horrible bleach dried hair LOL

    I celebrated my 1 year anniversary with my boyfriend. We'll be celebrating 13 years this year (2 years married).

    When I was 17....I had no clue, thought my parents were stupid and I could do whatever I wanted with no conseuquenses....It is amazing 24 years later, the things that you learn. You learn your parents were pretty damn smart and you finally get something that resembles a clue.

    I was size "0"... thought i looked really good~LOL when i look back at those pics now,.. i look sick/anorexic!
    I had moved out and was working full time.
    Had a camaro and thought i was the ****:)
    Partied alot!

    When I was 18 I realized I was a damn fool that didn`t know anything about anything.

    When I was 17, people thought I was a little slutty(they were right). I got drunk for the very first time. I had fabulous hair. I fell in love for the very first time. Later that year, I had my heart truly broken for the very first time, by my first love.

    But... I think when I was 17 I listened to metallica

    I had a horribly ugly faded silver 1980 Buick Skylark with only an AM radio

    We called it the nerd mobile :)

    I was a total band geek

    oh and when I was 17 I went away to college to get a degree in music education.

    YAY! When I was 17 I was a major band geek too! I was boy crazy and dated a super jerk and thought I was "in love"....and followed him to college to a college that didnt have my degree program! Now 5 years later, I am truly regretting that as I am FINALY in nursing school and have a pointless degree I cant do anything with!!

    *was sweet and innocent, hadn't yet had the feeling I needed to keep people at a distance

    When I was 17, I was 6'4' and 155 lbs. people mistook me for string.

    I lived with two collage roommates.

    I wrote a term paper the night Cherise Stone slept over, no one else was in the house and she kept coming out to talk to me with less and less clothing on. (still causes me to bang my head on the desk due to my lameness)

    I lost the "who gets drunk first" game and my friends poured peroxide in my hair. in their defense, I did so much worse to them when they lost the game other times.

    I fell in love with this guy that ended up being a jerk face
    danced hula 5 days a week
    was always grounded for getting home late
    my pager was my life
    & I was a smoker (yuck)

    graduated high school,
    drove a 1981 rusty, leaky honda that never once broke down!
    worked at a pretzel store in the mall,
    was dating a sweet 20 year old guy (now my husband),
    was a 'good girl',
    was a size 5 but thought I was fat!

    When I was 17, I drove a car that was a year older than I was. It was a 1966 Datsun stationwagon. It burned oil. It had been brush painted the same color as a green m&m. I was teased mercilessly. I didn't care. Most of those that were making fun of me had NO car! Thanks. You made me remember some fun times driving my GREEN MACHINE!

    I thought I had it all figured out...I hadn't a clue:laugh:

    I thought I was fat, but now am working HARD just to get CLOSE to that weight:frown:

    I could eat anything and not gain a pound, now I can't eat anything without gaining a pound:grumble:

    Thought the idea of having kids would be easy, because, ya know, it's kinda like babysitting...right?:huh:

    I drank and smoked and liked feeling like an adult, now I don't drink, don't smoke and don't like feeling like an adult...:sad: (j/k)

    When I was 17 back in 98' ....I was short flag(twirl flag) captain ....I went out almost every Friday night....I got my first job...I was still a virgin.....I graduated from High School ....I first learned to drive stick at 15 so I drove a stick shift Subaru(my dad's car) ....I graduated from High School

    was a band geek
    worked at McDonalds
    always had at least $250 in my wallet (wtf? oh yea... no bills, no mortgage, no...) - now I'm lucky to have .25
    spent most nights after work clubbing in Hollywood
    had no curfew (3am was standard)
    chose to go 2000 miles away to college
    thought I knew everything
    was the "bad influence" most parents worry about :laugh:
    did things I shouldn't have (sex, drugs, rock & roll - hey, it was 1982! :drinker: )
    drove a 1976 Chevy Cordova (did you know you can fit 10 people in one of those monsters - o.k. a little smushed, but still)

    I was on the varsity tennis team.
    I was aspiring to put out albums as an MC.
    I rolled with gangbangers and drug dealers.
    I was smokin' cigarettes, herb, and drinkin' at house parties.
    I hated the world and everything in it.
    I never smiled.
    I'd roll solo to different areas and bang on gang members hoping they'd retaliate and kill me.
    I met my ex.
    I didn't think I'd live to be 21.
