Yeah, one of two movies I will admit to tearing up for, the other is Rudy, at the end, when he gets to play, those two, I will admit to tearing up for, just saying.

I couldn't stand that movie, "My Girl".

I also cried when Hooch on "Turner and Hooch" died. Should be a law against dogs dieing in movies.

What about "Where the Red Fern Grows"?

That was my first thought! But the book. OMG. No way to not bawl during that one.

I cried at the end of 300, but only because the movie was so great I hated to see it end.

To answer the question: no because I don't watch sad movies.

    The Road.

Hell, McCarthy almost always makes me cry. I cried at each book in The Border Trilogy.

Or on LOST--they used that dog to wonderful effect. When Vincent tries to follow Walt on the raft as it goes out to sea at the end of season 1, I bawl every single time! And when he laid down next to Jack when Jack was dying--don't even get me started. I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

I'm a girl, but yes, nothing pulls the heartstrings like a loyal dog.
