To this day, I can read the end of Where the Red Fern Grows and absolutely gush. I remember when I was seven. We were talking a family vacation to Disneyland and my mother selected this book as the audio book of the trip (audio book being her reading out loud). We had just passed the Los Angeles city limits and hit the end of the book. Imagine driving along, glancing over and seeing a family in a station wagon bawling their eyes out. We were probably given a pretty wide birth in fear that my dad would suddenly drive us all into oncoming traffic. Easily one of the most surreal times of my life.

I refuse to watch sad movies.

Me too. Being sad makes me unhappy.

Almost forgot about Saving Private Ryan. That movie I definitely cried. Dad, brother, and I went to see that and had to wait a few minutes to leave the theater.

Loved Where the Red Fern Grows, book tore me up as a kid. And Ole Yeller.

My girlfriend chose to watch that movie for the first time one day when I was on duty at the fire station. Not a smart move on her part. She was a wreck!!!

Yeah not a good idea, definitely much harder when there is a possibility of it actually happening in your life!!

Did any of you guys cried in any of these movies:
    "Ghost"
    "Armaggeddon"
    "Braveheart"
    "Avatar"
    "Gladiator"
    "Pursuit of happiness"

Pursuit of Happyness - Yes! The others - No!
    -A Walk to Remember
    -Ladder 49
    -The Notebook
-Hope Floats - that little girl wanting to go with her Dad gets me everytime.
I can't think of anymore right now....

:indifferent: I know i'm not a man. I never watched that movie and i never cry at movies, but i did get teared up watching "The Passion of Christ" when they were whipping him and parts of his flesh was coming out. It was just horrible. So yes i did have tears falling down my eyes. Anyone that watched Passion of Christ did they tear up?

Black Beauty was the first book that made me cry - I was eight.

And this movie totally doesn't fit here, but I was pregnant when I watched "Titanic" and was fine until they showed the mother and baby dead in the water - cried the whole rest of the movie.
