    I had a really rough week this week -- starting with a pizza binge last weekend and rough workouts this week (strength training which was hard but not calorie-burning and not motivating!)

    I attribute this week's loss to drinking lots of water (with Crystal Lite) instead of my Diet Coke. I haven't cut the Diet Coke out yet, but I think you all have me convinced that water's the way to go.

    Y'all are doing great guys. My jaw just about hit the floor today when I got on the scale and it said 135.2!!! Down .8 from Thursday. I think I'll be able to meet my new challenge goal of 133-134. Hopefully I'll be able to drop my final 10 durning our next challenge.


    I like the "meat me at the beach" name. When I post charts I'll give lists...one for team names and one for challenge names. The top choice (majority vote) from each list will be our team name and challenge title. For example "New Meat's Meat Me at the Beach Challenge".

    It'll be fun to see what we come up with.


    Oh, the first weigh-in for our next challenge (once we finish this one) will be on June 16th-19th and the last weigh-in would be Sept. 1st-4th. I'm looking forward to it. :bigsmile: All rules are the same for the next challenge, but one minor change. Weights will need to be posted by Sunday NOON. I'd like to post the charts on Sunday evenings when I've got all day to work on them instead of Monday evenings during my family time. :wink:

    I have lost all the info that I have been saving showing my loss due to a computer crash. I am feeling pretty good with only 3 pounds left to hit my goal for the summer challenge. The last couple weeks have been little loss weight wise but I have lost .5 inches on both my waist and my "apron" from my c-section. SO that feels great. Now my monthly friend will be visiting bringing new challenges.

    I agree! This board really keeps me motivated! Having only 3 weeks left I am more determined than ever. This group really got me back on the wagon. Thanks Newmeat!
