    Does he pull the lift? Does he push buttons to make the lift go up?

    so, here's how it works, I give you a quandary and you need to ask me questions that I answer yes or no, I may give hints. If you know this one please don't spoil it;

    A man lives in an apartment on the 14th floor. He leaves his apartment at 8am, gets in the lift, takes it to the ground floor and gets on the bus to work. On his return he enters the lift, takes it to the 9th floor, gets out and walks the rest of the way up the stairs.....why does he do this?

    He is too short to reach the top buttons in the elevator.

    What do you mean does he pull the lift.

    There are self propelled lifts where you basically pull yourself up.

    he's either too short or doesn't have arms or something to reach the elevator button.
    OR
    he's super forgetful of where he lives
    OR
    he's totally OCD
    OR his name is Roger aka "that creepy dude" and lives in my building

    And on a rainy day he would go up to the 14th floor without having to take the stairs.
    Hence my initial comment about the rain.
